"Proximity to the city great, sanitary grotto - The proximity to Oxford is great, you can walk to the center, Oxford is so outstanding, you have to see it. Location: opposite the P+R site. About the parking lot of an outdoor store to the campsite.Gassi with dog consequently in the parking lot of the outdoor store! Arrived at 12.45 pm, not booked, reception opens at 1 pm. The boss came to me shortly before 1 and said she would check in the caravan couple and in 3 minutes it would be my turn.so into the reception and waited.couple was through and the boss asked in the room of the waiting newcomers who had booked - it would be his turn now.meanwhile the boss served the second desk and also asked for guests with booking.after 6 people had overtaken me it was my turn and I got a place in front of the barrier. The two were nice, no question, but I already felt like a 2nd class guest. the employee on the pitch was super nice, who fetched boards for caravan wheels on the run so that they stood straight. What is really only bearable for one day are the sanitary facilities. I had already read about and accepted the pee channel on the wall from 1970, and the water didn't drain well in the showers, so when I was getting dressed in the anteroom of the shower I was standing 2 cm high in water, which also ran under the door and into the room. Two sinks are outside at the front, next to it with a thin wooden wall the chemical toilet spout!!! Great smell would be the washing up!

"Close to the center, but with major disadvantages - The location close to the center is the big plus of this place - the Park & Ride parking lot is not far away, so you can easily walk there to see Oxford. A small Tesco supermarket is also not far away. It's a pity that the tent area is close to a railroad line and a busy road. It is not quiet here. The sanitary facilities are very poor. Very old condition, narrow shower cubicles, old stained washbasins and an unpleasant smell. I have experienced many "shower blocks" on campsites, but this was the worst.

"Oxford - Great location to visit Oxford, ideal starting point to explore the city, some pubs and shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity.

"Simple campsite in Oxford - Ideal starting point to discover Oxford on foot (approx. 20 minutes walk from the campsite to the city center/pedestrian zone). The campsite (friendly staff) is in a quiet location (entrance behind camping store) and the sanitary facilities are older (but clean).

" - Site was quite full in mid-September. Pitches still free, but without electricity. Sanitary facilities old, but clean and working. Price too high (22 Pfd. 2 pers. WoMo, without electricity). I have only ever experienced club pitches in the UK as first class. This is an exception. 2 km to the city, bus stops directly in front of the campsite.

" - On the plus side, the location is relatively close to the city center, about 25/30 minutes on foot or a few minutes by bus, as well as the neighboring outdoor outfitter. On the negative side, the very old sanitary facilities (a slippery men's urinal channel on the wall, unsightly toilets) and the direct proximity to a freight train line and a waste processing plant (working at night) - I have never experienced such a noisy place, although all guests were quiet.
