"Stormy stay; nevertheless great location - It is a wonderful campsite with a well-kept grass pitch and electricity. A clear view of the Baltic Sea with the huge Belt Bridge. Funen is generally very varied, also with its towns. Sanitary facilities are also very clean. Dishwashing facilities, a kitchen and an extra lounge are available. Can highly recommend this campsite. The operators are also very friendly.

"Great campsite with a great location - A long-established and spacious campsite with an up-to-date website (you can choose your own pitch online). You can see the age of the site, but everything is in good and clean condition. Especially the sanitary facilities. Well-equipped and clean kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee machine) with spacious lounge with sea view. Ample playground with large bouncy castle, boules court and soccer pitch. The site is situated on a hill, approx. 100 m to the water. Pebble beach, so bathing shoes recommended. Because of the pebble beach, the water is crystal clear. Bathing jetties are available. Riding stables within walking distance. Reception is friendly and multilingual. There is a kiosk with the most necessary groceries; fresh bread rolls every day. A chip card allows cashless payment on the site. The chip card is also used to pay for the shower (5 crowns max. 3 minutes; no interruption possible => therefore 10 crowns for a pleasant shower time). Free WiFi available but weak. The site impresses with its location (sea view; large Belt Bridge) and the green areas (lots of flowers and shrubs). The pitches are large enough and the atmosphere among the campers is very relaxed. The site offers an ideal starting point for excursions; Odense approx. 20 km; Nyborg approx. 8 km. Unfortunately no restaurant on site. However, a good place to discover and travel around the Funen peninsula. Always happy to return.

"Good place to stay overnight - We stayed at this site as a small pit stop on our tour of Sweden. Great location with a view of the Great Belt Bridge (we had a pitch in the front row). The pitch is better than the pictures on the internet. There are 2 sanitary facilities on the site. An old one at the entrance and a slightly newer one at the back of the site. Both were very clean. Showers cost but 5 DEK for camping. 3 min. Is activated and billed via the site card. 1st row there are some flying animals. The place is worth it for an overnight stay.

"10km south of Nyborg - Somewhat hilly site with approx. 240 pitches (according to the homepage). It felt like there were significantly fewer, although the site was still very well occupied. We received a very friendly welcome and were allocated a pitch. The ground is grass, which was difficult to drive on due to the bad weather of the previous days. Many of the pitches are fenced off with low hedges. Most of the guests are permanent campers, but the pitches with the best views are reserved for day visitors. The reception includes a mini store for essentials. In mid-September, we paid DKK 225 for a motorhome with electricity and two people. WLAN is free, showers cost extra. The beach is coarse gravel and in my opinion not suitable for walking. However, you can fish from the shore, provided you have a Danish fishing license. "Good place with a view of the Belt Bridge - The site is located on the coast and you have a beautiful view of the Belt Bridge. We received a very warm welcome and the sanitary facilities are ok. There is a chip card with which you can operate the barrier at the site and which is also used to pay for the showers. The showers have a time limit of 3.5 minutes and the fun was not exactly cheap.the old sanitary building is not the best, but there is a second, somewhat more modern one. Otherwise, a very well-kept, quiet site, but it has its price.

"Great view of the Great Belt - Beautifully situated site with a wonderful view. Open pitches, not very large. 2 sanitary buildings, 1 older, very good cleaning condition. Relatively expensive.

Tårup Strand Camping is a campsite with good classic camping and outdoor values. We offer a lovely setting for you and your family's camping holiday in Denmark. With us you will find peace for relaxation and reflection in a cozy …atmosphere, you are in close contact with nature and in the middle of beautiful scenic surroundings, directly by the Great Belt. Our sanitary and practical facilities are up-to-date and in good working order. In addition to the 140 hiking pitches, 100 seasonal pitches and 6 cabins, the site has: Grocery store - modern service buildings - playground - bouncy pad - swimming bridge - pentaque court - beach volleyball - football - boat tow - pygmy goats - fire pit - kitchens - disabled toilet - family bath - changing room. A holiday at Tårup Strand Camping gives you ample opportunity to be active. We have good playgrounds for the children and here there are swimming beaches for both young and old. There is a jetty and a pick-up area for your boat. Here are good opportunities for exciting excursions on foot, by bike or by car to the beautiful East Funen and the other major sights on Funen - or a refreshing dip in the Great Belt. Many stay here with us for a few days on their way north in Scandinavia or south in Europe. We have the option of self-check-in if you arrive late. We have a great focus on ensuring that there must be a good balance and mutual respect between the campsite's regular guests and guests who are here for a shorter time. Good neighborliness and helpfulness are the key to this. If you need larger purchases than the campsite's small shop, there are good shops in Ørbæk and Nyborg within 11-12 km. - But with us you can get freshly baked breakfast bread every morning. A warm welcome to Tårup Strand Camping - a campsite where you want to return year after year.
