Large, well-kept pitches, clean sanitary facilities, the location right on the quiet lake and super tasty bread rolls from the bakery!

The footbridge to the lake is a bit wobbly.
Pleasant place!
We really liked this campsite. For swimming, however, we walked or cycled to the neighboring lake, which is very well equipped with bathing spots, a sandy beach and bathing jetties. Various excursion destinations are very easy to reach due to the central location, so there's never a dull moment. We can highly recommend this place!

Lovely campsite that offers many good facilities.
A lovely campsite that offers many good facilities. The campsite is great for children, with its own candy cookery, candy train and great play equipment - bouncy castle and all. Child-friendly site... Great views of the lake and relatively close to the town. Very nice grocery store with bread service... from its own bakery. Food and drinks can also be purchased in the shop in Cafe Gøgleren. There is a fine selection of groceries in the store. When we arrived there was jazz music from the site's own stage. The cabins on the site are very new and beautiful - almost opulent  The site infrastructure is very good. The pitches are easy to get to by caravan. We were allowed to decide where we wanted to stay on the campsite. The site's terrain is on several levels, which we thought was really nice. The sanitary conditions are top-notch and the maintenance of the campsite is in order. We were there in the summer of 2018, when the drought had left its mark on the whole of Denmark. It left its natural mark on the vegetation, which the friendly host couple and friendly staff had no influence on. An absolutely lovely campsite that in our eyes is very (mostly) suitable for families with children. The price level is a bit high - but ok with the facilities at the campsite

That's how it should be!
If I had the money and time, I would like to run a campsite like this myself. Not too big, not too small, right on the water, well-kept, on several levels, harmoniously parceled out, with nice and clean sanitary facilities, a small store in front for the essentials and friendly staff. What else can I say...? Will I be back? Certainly, very certainly!
