There were about 200 ducks running around and leaving stuff on the lawn. And since there are dogs allowed, they left their stuff too, or their owner left it. The toilets were not as clean as you would expect it but the showers and sinks were fine and there was soap. The drinking water did not taste good. The designated space for tents was not flat and more stones than lawn, but we set it up elsewere and it was fine.

A beautiful campsite in Finland
We spent 3 days in Rauma at the Poroholma campsite. The campsite is located right by the sea and has a beautiful sandy beach right next to some of the pitches. Some of the pitches are under trees and offer protection from the sun. The campsite has a central sanitary building with toilets/showers and... a kitchen. There may be waiting times during the high season. For the children there is a playground or the beach with lots of sand. There is also a small restaurant with a mini-golf course and two bars (pirate ships at the guest harbor) on the site. From the campsite, you can take beautiful bike tours to the town center or to the historic Old-Rauma.

Very good campsite, with free sauna in the morning between 8 and 10 am.

The site describes itself as a 5-star site, which it does not deserve. The sanitary facilities are clean and nice, but too small in July. There are queues for the toilet, shower and washing up. In the evening there was only lukewarm water for showering and washing up. The location is beautiful, with its own beach.

The course describes itself as a 5* course. However, it certainly doesn't deserve that. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated, mostly clean and nice, but not sufficient in July, there are queues for the toilet, shower and washing up. No individual washing cubicles.
