The staff at reception were very nice and helpful. The location and facilities of the campsite were great. Tree houses, tipi tents, swimming pool, supermarket, restaurant etc. Unfortunately, at this time of year, only one wash house... was open for both men and women. The water was also still turned off when washing up. The restaurant was very good and excellent value for money. We wanted to use the wellness area (whirlpool and sauna) but the price of € 160 for 2 hours put us off. Unfortunately there was no shuttle to the Plitvice lakes and we had to take a cab. The waste disposal station was below the campsite. The same went for the chemical toilet, which was only accessible via an embankment. However, neither was a problem for us in May.
The fact that the pool is currently being rebuilt and therefore not usable was very annoying. Also that this was not communicated in advance 😔

The pool with small bar is very nice and modern, and there are play facilities for children/young people. Everything is very clean and modern. However, the sanitary facilities are very cramped,... no separate area with washbasin. The more expensive pitches are equipped with a pergola, the cheaper ones with trees for shade. The latter are much nicer between the trees on a green area, but some of them hang considerably. Location: Plitvice NP is about 10 km away, a shuttle is offered to get there, but only in the morning. At this time, however, there were no more entrance tickets. Ergo, drive yourself or stand in the queue. Restaurants: just around the corner. Shopping: dittoAutomātiski tulkots.

The site is very hilly, hardly any straight pitches available, very nicely designed but close to the busy country road. There is a small supermarket, restaurants, swimming pool and 24-hour reception. The rental accommodation looks awesome. At second glance, however, we realized that it wasn't so easy to get a straight pitch with the camper van. The sanitary facilities for ladies are new but not sufficient. 3 showers and... 3 toilets as well as 2 washbasins which are used by the toilet users. But there is a hairdryer :). Bus leaves in front of the cp. Family 1 child. The location of the place is very good, the plitvice lakes are 5 min. away by car. There is a bus stop in front of the campsite. The food in the adjoining restaurant is very tasty and reasonably priced. There is a reasonably priced breakfast buffet. There is also... a store with the essentials. At our time the sanitary facilities were completely renovated, very clean and new. Only the road to the premium pitches had not yet been asphalted, which is why the kerb to the pitch was very high. Our pitch had a great view. The pool is small but perfectly adequate for a refreshing dip. The reception staff were very friendly. You can check out 24 hours a day, so you can also leave at night. There is a nice children's playground. The surrounding area offers many possibilities to do something cycling, canoeing, national park and much more. Price performance is right. - Mario H.Juni 2018PozitīviGood connection to Plitvice Lakes; modern and cleanNegatīvaisConstruction site probably during the 2018 season; traffic noise during the day, therefore probably not suitable for all-day relaxationGood starting point for the Plitvice Lakes National ParkWe were here in June 2018, but first of all: almost the entire site is currently being renovated. And it looks like the construction site will continue until the end of the 2018 season. Of the 100 pitches, only around 15-20 pitches, namely the premium pitches above the campsite, can currently be used.... The sanitary facilities are also being renovated, so that only one building with 4 showers and 2 toilets can currently be used - not separated by gender. Washing and rinsing facilities are also integrated there. There are also toilets at the (closed?) pool bar: 2 for women, 1 for men. However, the facilities were modern and always clean, and the available spaces were usually well occupied. We stayed there for 2 nights and paid the equivalent of around €30 per night. We could get over the construction noise early in the morning (from around 7.30am) as we wanted to take the bus from the campsite to Plitvice Lakes. Bonus: The bus stop is located directly in front of the access road to the campsite, the bus costs 21 kuna (approx. 3€) per adult per journey. The journey takes less than a quarter of an hour. So the campsite is ideal for visiting the national park. Overall, the campsite seemed much smaller and more pleasant for us than the larger ones: Korana and Borje. When the construction work is finished, the site will have "tree houses", mobile homes and lodges on an artificial, azure-blue lake as well as around 100 pitches plus additional tent areas. We would choose this site again, even despite the construction site.Automātiski tulkots.

I can't understand the negative reviews regarding the sanitary facilities. Maybe it's also because we visited this campsite in October. At that time the sanitary facilities were adequate and always very clean. The staff were very friendly. There is a small store and 2 restaurants at the entrance to the campsite. Once you have seen the Plitivice Lakes (allow 6-7 hours), you should drive on.Automātiski tulkots.

What can I say: sanitary building catastrophically small, the site is nice but many pitches uneven, pool is new and nicely laid out. Some pitches completely without shade.... Conclusion: You notice the location to Plitvice Park in the price, which is really easy to reach from here. Made booking request via Email which was confirmed within the hour by reception employee in a neat friendly email. Reception staff all friendly and very helpful. Shuttle bus goes every morning at 09.00 from campsite to Plitvice lakes. During our stay... there was open air cinema every night near the tipi tents. We took a premium pitch, a little sloping but fully sufficient even with a caravan, the music from the pool bar, which some people here found annoying, was pleasantly quiet and off from 8 p.m. The restaurant in front of the pitch convinced... us in terms of price / performance. If you take a cheap pitch, and by cheap I mean cheap because I paid about 60 € for the premium pitch for 2 days, 2 people and car + caravan, you have to stand on the meadow and walk in the mud in bad weather, which is rarely the case here, but the staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The place gets our full recommendation to look at the Plitvice Lakes, for a long-term vacation I prefer to go to the sea, but that is also a matter of taste. Regardless of the rating, I would like to add something..... If there's one thing I don't like in this forum, it's an unfair rating.You should consider what you can expect, what you're offered and ultimately what's important....Where I am. Nowhere in this world can you expect a service for little money that you can get for a lot of money in Germany. in the end I am a camper who won't die without WLAN, who doesn't mind if he has to walk a bit to get water or make a complaint to the embassy in bad weather. WE ARE ON VACATION!!!! We have now visited 5 campsites with rather poor ratings in this forum and would be convinced of the opposite, do the same......Automātiski tulkots.
