The historic centre of Szentendre is only a 10-minute walk away. The campsite is well maintained, with shady and sunny pitches. The accommodation is clean and tidy. The beach pool is fantastic! It has been slowly updated every year but has kept its old values of being a friendly place with up-to-date information when asked for. It has a decent restaurant and buffet, with a supermarket close by. It is the perfect place to stop at the end of my cycle ride to Budapest each year. Jan D.augusts 20142.0Jan D.augusts 2014PozitīviClose to Budapest. Nice view over Danube.NegatīvaisEverything is old and little modernization has been done.Cabin on stilts, don't.Rented cabin on stilts. First impression: nothing done to it since Soviet times. 2 bed is slab of wood with too thin mattress. 2 single beds were slightly better. Kitchen: 2-burner stove with rust, sink bowl sitting loose, 1 skillet and 1 saucepan, no glasses, only 4 cups. Sewage smell came up through... the drain in shower, the whole cabin stank of it, really nauseating. I closed the drain with a piece of cardboard with a wine bottle on it. Sink hung way too low. There was a new shower curtain. For the same money we had in Bük an apartment with air conditioning, complete modern kitchen, good bed, TV, wifi etc.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais! - 4.0ASAndrea S.jūnijs 20144.0ASAndrea S.jūnijs 2014PozitīviDream location, good connection to public transportNegatīvaisVery old sanitary facilitiesCP in a beautiful landscapeCampsite in a beautiful, quiet location on a small island on the Danube near the town of Szentendre. The reception was very friendly. Operators are very helpful. W-LAN on the pitch (in the front part towards the reception - no reception further back). Shady location due to beautiful old large trees.... Approx. 2km to the center of Szentendre (bike / footpath available), supermarket (Spar) in 5 min distance. The outdoor pool next door was unfortunately not in operation, but about 3km away a nice outdoor pool / thermal bath. The bus stop is right in front of the campsite. The trip to Budapest and back went smoothly. We can't say anything about the restaurant on the site, despite the World Cup it was already closed at half past eight. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but have seen better days. They are in urgent need of renovation. It's fine for a few days, but it's just no longer up to date. Otherwise a very nice vacation in a very beautiful area.
- 5.0JBJaap B.augusts 20125.0JBJaap B.augusts 2012Fantastic place in a very beautiful nature. The sanitary facilities are cleaned 4x a day, the pitches are very large. Friendly and very involved owners. Very quiet, lots of space, large pitches, neat plumbing, beautiful view of Danube, great hiking. Everything you need is just there! Nice thermal pool,... good clean and large. The little ones can cool off in a real paddling pool. Thermal pool: yes! The rules of the campsite that the evening after 22 hours it must be quiet are also well respected in our opinion. In short, a great place to relax and do nothing. Top campsite. Definitely want to come back next year!Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais!
