DéfiPlanet' au Domaine de Dienné is a holiday village with a difference based on the principals of creating as little damage as possible to the environment in which we are located. Set in 47 hectares of countryside the Domaine also … boasts its very own theme park. Based on the theme of the environment, Defiplanet' is a reconstruction of villages from regions of France and from around the world including a selection of the animals and plants from those regions. You then discover the world of fairies and elves who guide you on your discovery of the world of nature and your effect on the environment. DéfiPlanet' au Domaine de Dienné offers more than 80 units of accommodation along side the 2 swimming pools (one is inside and heated), its riding center, spa, high ropes course and restaurant all set in the Charente region of western France. Located less than 30 minutes from Poitiers airport with flights operated by RyanAir and from the well known attraction of Futuroscope, DéfiPlanet' au Domaine de Dienné has a selection of original and sometimes unique accommodation. Clients can choose from a selection of Chalets, Gites, cabins in the trees, the well equipped tree houses, Romany caravans, Mongolian yurts, chalets, star gazing house and sprites or elf house. New for 2013 are Castle in the Trees, the Snail house and the Mushroom houses. The campsite offers large pitches all with electricity and water.
