The swimming pool next door is being renovated, which will cause some noise.DCC own place positive againthe campsite is a DCC-owned campsite, which I think is the most beautiful in Germany. the location is ideal for excursions in all directions due to the proximity to Strasbourg and the Black Forest as well as the europapark Rust or the Rhine. The streetcar is only there once in the morning. Furthermore, the permanent campers are very bad-tempered, which you notice as a guest. You are "kindly" reprimanded as soon as you arrive. Unfortunately, young and old don't go together here. The showers look new, but appearances are deceptive. Mold, broken shower head hangers, the toilet area is used by both genders, which is quite crowded with only one washroom. Hygiene is correspondingly poor.Good location, unfortunately not clean & well organized!The location is great, close to France. The weather was quite rainy, which spoiled our impression of the site. In my opinion, however, it is not one of the most beautiful campsites.
But you can tell that campers were involved in the design. The sanitary facilities are well... thought out. It is rare to find three double hooks in the very spacious shower, so that you can cope well even in bad weather. You don't have to leave the shower to brush your teeth after showering, as there is also a washbasin. And of course there is also a seat.
There is also a washbasin at the waste disposal station for cleaning your hands afterwards. All things that I have missed on pretty much every other campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

A simple meadow with trees. Not parceled out. I've come across much nicer places.
We were there for a week. A lot of small airplanes fly over the site.
The sanitary facilities have seen better days. The shower was leaking... and water was spraying on all sides. The water drained very slowly so that you had to stand in it. NO SEATING.
On Thursday a small group of campers arrived about 8-10 people who immediately started talking at a volume that the whole place heard. NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR.
Then on Friday the group set up a sound system and played music very loudly and sang along. NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR. This went on into the evening.
The noise nuisance continued all day on Saturday !!!! NOTHING WAS DONE BY THE SITE OPERATOR.

It took us 3.5 hours to finally get to our pitch, despite our reservation, and we spent the time beforehand in the queue at the swimming pool. The groundskeeper was unbeatable in her unfriendliness. Totally overwhelmed and pretty helpless. After the thunderstorm... there was a power cut, when asked the next day at 4pm, the reception door was locked and the lady sat at her desk rolling her eyes and shrugging her shoulders. At Pentecost a nice gentleman from the DCC came to the rescue. We hope that a site team will soon be found that knows how to say thank you, please and hello.Automātiski tulkots.

Friendliness, size of the pitches, sanitary facilitiesNegatīvais-Very well managed campsiteThe campsite is located behind the Rhine dam and is easy to find by car (well signposted). No parcelling out, campsite manager guides you to the site and provides the necessary information. New sanitary facilities, the shower rooms with washbasins are particularly good. In the morning there are sometimes... short waiting times for the showers when the site is full. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. In the mornings there is a bread roll sale (put your name on the list the day before), the restaurant on site is also good, but it's better to make a reservation as it was fully booked every evening during our stay. The pitches are large enough. WLAN is available, but unfortunately hardly usable. (when the site is full) Many cycle tours are possible from the site (Alsace, along the Rhine, to Offenburg, Gengenbach, Lahr, etc.) Take the streetcar D to Strasbourg for little money, either at the town hall or at Kehl main station. Or - also not much further - take a nice walk over the bicycle/pedestrian bridge to France, through the park, exit Nord, and get on the streetcar there. (Port du rhin station)

No spacePlace occupied - no possibility of contactWe would have liked to stay there for a few nights, sent an email days in advance and tried to call several times. Answering machine from early in the morning until the evening. The mail was not answered. We then drove there on the off chance and saw the big sign at the entrance. Space occupied. Why can't you communicate this somehow beforehand and let people drive there first?

Dog friendly. It was a four-week dream vacation. We, the Boos/Schöpflin family, would love to come back. This campsite can only be recommended to everyone. Everyone who has been... here once falls in love and loves to come back.

Campsite is under new management. Super nice and helpful. Exceptionally good sanitary facilities that were always clean. The campsite restaurant is also good but not quite as friendly. There is a lot to discover in the area.
