This campsite (Holiday Park) is located at the end of an access road just before the sea. A small number of the pitches are located on the large site, which is mainly occupied by mobile homes. There is also a playground, sanitary facilities far away, a restaurant and a store, which was only open once... a week in May. The restaurant was closed. The other part of the pitches was opposite. This part was larger with a sanitary building, in which there were only 4 toilets and 2 showers. When the pitches are full, these are by no means sufficient. Dishwashing facilities outside, hardly usable in the rain. So use the dry hours quickly. None of this would be a reason to complain, but Chestnutt claims to be a 5-star site. Unfortunately, it is far from it. The shower costs 75 pence, the pitch is 24 pounds. The reception is well staffed, very friendly, helpful staff. From there you can explore the wonderful countryside, there are pretty villages, old castles etc. everywhere.
