Quiet location
I chose this place to spend the night on my cycle tour. Unfortunately, it can only be reached from the Rems cycle path via steep climbs. I received a friendly welcome from the camping friends. The allocated pitch was unfortunately only partially suitable for tents as the ground is very stony. The sanitary... facilities were very clean and large enough. Drinks supply on site flawless, thanks to the club's own catering. Unfortunately, there are no gastronomic options in the very new-looking village, there is a Penny about 1km away for shopping.

Very friendly operators tent meadow short way to the lake

No section of beach belonging to the campsite
Super place - super nice staff
There were 5 of us + 1 dog with 2 tents and a caravan. Although caravans normally get a single pitch, we were allowed to join our friends on the tent meadow.
We received a very warm welcome right at the beginning, were given a brief information talk and invited directly to the "small beer garden" in... the evening.

There are mainly permanent campers on the site, it is very quiet, although the guests like to sit together a little longer in the "beer garden" in the evening.

When we were there, the tent meadow was very full, so it was also a bit louder, which didn't bother us as a group (25-year-olds).

The lake is only a 5 minute walk away. The lake is public and has no area that belongs exclusively to the pitch, so at this point: THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PITCH! As soon as we stood in the lake, the first shard was in my foot, the next crate of beer was in the water next to me and with every step you felt another bottle. Unfortunately, my dog also injured himself on the shards, so BE CAREFUL WHEN RUNNING IN!

All in all, the place is super nice, very friendly staff in a top location!!!

Young and old are well accepted. There are mainly permanent campers here. The size of the campsite is also pleasant.

Small and fine, we'll be back
When we registered, we were informed that it would be a little noisier at the end of April, as the CampingFreunde were having their festival there and the site was actually fully booked. Nevertheless, we were allocated a nice pitch. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the showers have a glass... cubicle and are quite large. Hot water came directly and with sufficient pressure. We arrived quite late and were greeted in a very friendly manner and shown to our pitch. We were even helped with aligning our caravan (we don't have a mover). There are many permanent campers there. But I have never encountered such friendly permanent campers as here in my many years of camping experience. It's probably because the permanent campers are real campers and all the other campers there were really friendly. Bread rolls are available to order, but there is also a Penny supermarket with an oven bakery not far away. At this time of year, we were unable to check whether you can swim in the nearby lake. The site also has a playground with table tennis and table football and a house especially for children with a TV and karaoke. Our 12-year-old son really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back next year.

Somewhat rigid rules for the open spaces to be used on the site. No shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity.
Quietly located, very familiar campsite
We enquired about a permanent pitch today and were given a very friendly welcome and comprehensive advice by Mr. Lehmann. The site makes a clean and well-kept impression! Anyone who would like to contribute a few hours of work is very welcome here and enjoys the very good price/performance ratio.

The campsite is close to the Götzenbachsee (500 m), where you will also find the SeeGastwirtschaft restaurant. If you are traveling with a motorhome, you can walk 500 m from the campsite via the small animal breeding association to Penny, Schlecker and the butcher. Also possible by bike. The staff and... the permanent campers are VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. We enjoyed every day there. Unbeatable price. Sanitary building CLEAN and laundry still affordable. We will definitely be back soon, for the May festival or an event. The campsite is very well organized. They try to respond to the wishes of the guests.
