Road is clearly audible (day and night).Nice, small campsite by a bathing lakeSmall, well-kept and chilled campsite by a small bathing lake and directly below the Schleching climbing wall. Level pitches and large enough. We were traveling with the motorhome. With the guest card you have access to public transport and thus by bus and train to the Chiemsee and can leave the WoMo.... Bus stop and great restaurant (Gasthof Zellerwand) within walking distance of the site.
The proximity to the highway is clearly audible and especially disturbing at night.
There must have been a change of operator, you can see in every nook and cranny how much effort they put into the further development of the site. We camped with two boys aged 7 and 9 on the back meadow. The children were often at the lake with their landing nets and got to know lots of other cynics. There is electricity at the meadow; the road didn't bother us at all, there was... hardly any traffic at night.
There is a good bread roll service and the sanitary facilities were small but in good order. Even though there aren't many showers, we never had to queue during the 9 days.
The operators were very friendly.

We were practically the first on the site when it opened after Corona and were very impressed. We ended up staying a day longer. The owners reorganized everything so that we could stay on our pitch. The small lake was perfectly adequate for swimming. The size of the campsite is manageable and was very pleasant for us. The campsite is quiet. The size is pleasant.
Directly behind the campsite is the Zeller Wand, which offers climbing opportunities in many levels of difficulty and variations.
There is a restaurant with a beer garden within walking distance of the campsite.
All in all, we felt very comfortable. Many thanks to the hosts. Keep up the good work.Automātiski tulkots. - Heinz W.June 2019PozitīviGood location, beautiful lake, small and unagitated.NegatīvaisUnfriendly operator, restrictive and uncompassionate, many permanent campers, moon prices, noisy street, too few showers, only partially suitable for childrenIt could be a great place if...The location of the campsite on the small lake in the valley is very nice and the small campsite would have potential - if the operators were different. The landlady is so unfriendly - she would have been better off choosing a job without human contact. At least her husband is polite and sociable. Overall,... as a non-permanent camper you don't feel very welcome - especially with a child. The sanitary facilities are clean but completely undersized (only 4 showers, no family shower). And there are strict signs everywhere reminding you of what is forbidden (dogs, washing clothes in the sink, brushing teeth in the washing-up area, barbecues, fires, etc.). Electricity (3 euros per day) and WiFi (2 euros per day) completely overpriced, the latter hardly usable. Water/waste water only available at the main building. The few tourist pitches are level and graveled. The main road within sight is quite noisy during the day, but quiet at night. The sanitary facilities are very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Water... supply only at the main building. The operators are very friendly. Unfortunately, the chemical toilet and the waste station have to be unlocked separately. There are no special food supply options on the site. Unfortunately you have to leave by 11 am. If you have to use the campsite's expensive WLAN due to the poor network coverage, you will struggle with the impractical payment process of the third-party provider. Sanitary facilities clean, but somewhat cramped (only two showers each). What wasn't so great: an unfriendly operator who grumbled at us at check-in (somewhat... compensated for by her amiable husband), the tent pitch was not flat, but sloping and damp. Also quite noisy because of the adjacent main road, which is obviously also used as a motorcycle race track. Overall, a campsite that is quite OK. PS: the site somehow got into the book "Cool Camping" ... and I'm afraid some people will be a bit disappointed because it's "only" a normal campsite.Automātiski tulkots.

The parceled out pitches are only suitable for tents to a limited extent, rock pegs could hardly be driven in,Practical, very loud, nothing specialThe sanitary facilities are clean and adequate, but the smell in the anteroom, which is apparently also used as a storage room, is unpleasant and indefinable. The site is located on a very busy road and there is really loud traffic noise! The information boxes are not up to date (bus timetable from 2016... in summer 2017?!) WiFi costs €5 for 10 days but can only be used directly at reception. The electricity was charged at a flat rate of € 2.50 per day, although the price list on the homepage states € 0.70 per kwh. The lady at reception was very unfriendly and not talkative, if you were lucky you were greeted by her, but nothing more. On the other hand, the groundsman was very obliging and helpful. However, they reacted rather indifferently to criticism (electricity price, WLAN). The pitches are very cramped. We wouldn't recommend this site for a longer stay, but it's okay for an overnight stay or just passing through.Automātiski tulkots.

The nearby main road hardly disturbs you, at most at the weekend when there are lots of motorcycles on the road. The inconspicuous main building conceals a very clean, modern sanitary facility.... The site operator is extremely friendly and helpful. This site is perfect for nature lovers and mountain sports enthusiasts. There is a climbing wall directly above the campsite. A cycle path leads to Marquartstein or Schleching or to a nearby, very good restaurant, which can also be reached on foot in 10m. There is a small playground and a climbing wall for children. There is a nice meadow for camping. You can order bread rolls for breakfast the day before. After several vacations on large campsites, this one was more of a "back to the roots" experience. We had to realize that this site is exactly what we actually mean by camping. We will definitely be back!!!Automātiski tulkots.

The sanitary facilities are small but perfectly adequate, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. Lots of people at the lake during the day, total peace and quiet in the mornings and evenings. The only downside is when... it gets too hot for all the Munich city center residents at the same time and they descend on the place like locusts. There is a small kiosk on the site with seating and a bread roll service. Although there are few showers, they are absolutely family-friendly and, above all, very clean, which... also applies to the rest of the sanitary facilities. I can highly recommend this site, especially for families with small children, but older children and adults will also find numerous opportunities for activities etc. on the site and especially in the surrounding area. Restaurant around the corner, shopping facilities nearby, bread rolls on site. The campsite is right next to a small bathing lake with a playground, not far from the Austrian border and Lake Chiemsee. Great starting point for many leisure activities.
