Very good municipal
Urban campsite close to the beach with no frills. New and very clean sanitary facilities. Site partly terraced, the upper ones with hardly any shade, further down there are some shady pitches. Very friendly staff. Close to the town. If you like real camping, this is the place for you.

Beach stony and water often very dirty
Great for relaxing
This campsite has a great location with a view over the mountains and only a small staircase down to the sea. Watch out for great sunsets :-) There are smaller and larger pitches that are not very strictly divided, which makes a very airy impression. Sanitary facilities were old but always clean and... not overcrowded even in August. Often long distances for electricity, but you can borrow extension cables for a deposit. In the evening it is a little noisy from the street with the small pubs. But this didn't bother us. If the beach was nicer we would come back more often! Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Cycling is rather hilly so more for the e-bike!

The right price-performance ratio

Good and cheap
We spent two nights here on our return journey from Portugal to Germany. The campsite is right by the sea/beach. The sanitary facilities are no longer the newest, but they were all clean! You can get to St-Jean-du-Luz very quickly by bike - scooter - longboard on the cycle path along the cliffs.
