Peace and quiet and friendly operators
Friendly, quiet place
We got to know this place for one night in summer 2018. Now we spent 4 nights here in July 2019. Once again we were warmly welcomed by Anne and Philippe. The pool and sanitary facilities are good. The pitch is not very big - and that's good! It has a nice lawn and some shade. You may need a longer cable... for the electricity connections. The river Arize is close by. Bread comes from the bakery in Le Mas d'Azil. And the baker is really excellent! There is also a snack bar on site. A very small but good selection. In the surrounding area is the great grotto of Le Mas, the castle in Foix (beautifully designed, but little English text), the Labouiche grotto (go there early in the morning). The old town of Mirepoix is touristy but worth seeing.

a beautifully situated place, bread service, absolute peace at night, Mas D`Azil can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, very friendly operators

A place to feel good and relax.
A lovingly managed campsite with large shady pitches, a cool pool and good value for money.
