Sully Castle can be reached in 15 minutes. Saint-Bernoit Abbey about 10 km by bike. Supermarket with a huge offer (also super delicious cheese) can also be reached in 10 minutes.

None in the low season. It is understandable that the minimarket is already closed.
Good starting point for the castle and abbey
Perfectly OK for 3 stars. No hustle and bustle. Even without a reservation we got a nice spot by the water.
No electricity, but you are self-sufficient.

Beautiful location on the Loire, by bike you can be in Sully with the castle in about 5 minutes or at the supermarkets Saint-Père.

There are limited sanitary facilities available in the low season, so there may be waiting times even in March.

Otherwise nothing to note, neither positive nor negative.

Grass is withered (July) Sanitary was often cleaned, superficially clean, but many cobwebs, dead mosquitoes, dirty floor
Beautiful place in a great location

Many cyclists and tent campers here, but sometimes also larger (noisy) groups

Great excursion possibilities

Sully is a nice place, larger market on Mondays, the castle is great to look at.

Nice site with sufficiently large pitches and direct access to the Loire; friendly reception; small restaurant available; good starting point for sightseeing; the sanitary facilities consist of an old building and a newer container - they are the only weak point of this site;

Quiet, well-kept campsite directly on the Loire, large pitches, ideal starting point for visiting the Loire castles, ideal for cycling.

Rating based on one overnight stay (stop-over) in the low season. Perfectly located for visiting the Chateau Sully-sur-Loire (within walking distance). Showers included, but only one small wash house in operation (out of 2). Very nice pitches (always 6 in one area) with good infrastructure for camper... vans. Price for motorhome/pitch, 2 people/electricity: €17 (2012/06). Pitch directly on the Loire with river access. Quiet location. Very friendly reception, well-maintained site.
