Small, beautiful, centrally located campsite
Beautiful small campsite, surrounded by mountains, ideal as a starting point for excursions, e.g. to the Eiger, or to start hikes from there. Clean sanitary facilities. The operator is very friendly and has valuable tips for activities.
We would love to come back.
Public transport is also not far away,... there is also a good restaurant in the village, shopping in the neighboring village, gas station in the village.
It's great that it's open all year round.

Uncomplicated, helpful and very well maintained. This makes camping really fun. Ideal starting point for various leisure activities.

Very good
Very good campsite, very warm welcome, large pitches on request at a very reasonable price, ideal location for hiking and visiting the major Swiss Alpine passes.
Particularly noteworthy is the impeccable cleanliness of the sanitary facilities.
Many campers complain about the price of hot water, but 1 CHF for 5 minutes is quite acceptable and even normal to limit waste.
We recommend this campsite.

With the old sanitary facilities, you had to pay 50 centimes to have hot water for 5 minutes in the shower. With the old sanitary facilities, you also had to pay 50 centimes if you wanted hot water for washing up. With the new sanitary facilities, if you want hot water for showering or washing up, you have to pay money. With the new sanitary facilities, you have to pay 4 francs a day for hot water. The entrance for caravans is really narrow, no problem for a motorhome of 7.25 meters length. No store.
You get a lot of rest
Camping owner is friendly and helpful. The campsite is clean. Camping owner helps people drive in with caravans and drive out.

Natural camping at the gateway to the Grimsel and Susten Alpine passes
We were able to rent a pitch for the whole season. So we visited the site from Easter to the end of October at weekends and on vacation. Camping Grund is an exception among Swiss campsites. Personally run by the owner and maintained and cleaned with incredible effort. The slightly hilly terrain has two... lanes that provide access to all pitches on grass. With a free choice of pitches, all users have the opportunity to find a suitable pitch. The site is very simply but efficiently equipped. There is a central water point at the main sanitary building, as well as a disposal point for waste water / toilet tanks. Electricity and Wi-Fi are available throughout the site, although a slightly longer cable must be used in some places. There is a second, new sanitary building with 3 top modern bathrooms. If you want, you can get a key for a small extra charge. A total of 30 keys are provided. We were delighted with this and were able to use the clean showers unhindered throughout the season. If you want, you can use the general toilet facilities in the main sanitary building and pay a small fee for the hot water. The campsite is about 5 minutes' walk from the "Grimseltor". The ticket office for numerous excursion destinations is located there. There is also the bus terminal, the train station and a well-stocked grocery store with a bread section. There are several restaurants in the small mountain village, which is characterized by pretty wooden houses. The rocky Alps rise rapidly all around. Numerous mountain tours, guided tours of electricity production, reservoirs, side valleys, mountain railroads, water gorges and waterfalls have persuaded us to spend another whole season at CP Grund! If you are looking for an absolutely quiet place without a playground or entertainment and appreciate the sometimes wild climate of the mountains, this is the place for you!

Good location, uncomplicated and helpful
Uncomplicated groundskeeper who cares about the well-being of his guests. The location on the edge of the village is very quiet and recommended. All the necessary infrastructure is available and well maintained.
Shopping facilities within walking distance.
Good opportunities for hiking, even with dogs.

Many excursion possibilities on foot and by bike. Quiet and sunny location. Smaller campsite.

Narrow access and driveway (with caravan). Hot water for shower, washbasin and washing up is unfortunately chargeable.
Quiet and sunny campsite
We were allowed to choose the pitch for our caravan ourselves from several suggestions. The groundsman is friendly and easy to reach, he also helps with the narrow entrance and exit.
We had planned to stay for a week, but unfortunately the weather didn't play ball, which is why we only had two sunny days and left before the next big downpour. After a torrential downpour shortly after our arrival, our awning was under water.

The whole area is simply beautiful and highly recommended
Wonderful campsite
This campsite is simply wonderful. Mr. Dresli is very friendly, helpful and made our time all the more enjoyable. The sanitary facilities are very clean, we always had hot water and the washing machine and dryer are also great!

Camping Grund in Innertkirchen has been our favorite campsite in the Bernese Oberland for many years. The campsite is located on the edge of the village and is the only one in Innertkirchen and the surrounding area with a quiet location and a beautiful view. Far away from the noise of the road and the... river. Good and clean sanitary facilities, excellent service and very reasonable prices. Centrally located on the Sustenpass, Grimsel, Rosenlaui, Schwarzwaldalp, Haslital and Grindelwald. Piece by piece beautiful excursion destinations for hiking etc.
