- 4.0FBFranziska B.oktobris 20234.0FBFranziska B.oktobris 2023Pozitīviclose to Volterra Friendly reception Bread roll service Quietly situated in the forestNegatīvaisSanitary facilitiesFriendly campsiteWe traveled from Pisa it was spectacular to drive through the beautiful Tuscan countryside in the fall. the road was not easy with a big camper but it works. We received a warm welcome like nowhere else on our trip... Friendly set up. We were allowed to order bread rolls right away and the nice lady... then briefly explained the way to Volterra on foot.
We were allowed to choose our pitch and stand on it. The pitches are a bit uneven but no problem for us. In the evening we went for a walk to the beautiful church which was so beautifully illuminated with the mystical fog it was really great. We then found a small bar. The sanitary facilities are really a bit outdated (no toilet paper) no problem for us. Showers and washing up were functional. Pool would have been open but we didn't use it. We slept peacefully. The next morning we explored Volterra which is a bit touristy but beautiful. Conclusion Great campsite without a lot of frillsAutomātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Sven S.augusts 20234.0Sven S.augusts 2023PozitīviLarge pitches, also for camper vans. Many pitches with plenty of shade. Volterra can be reached on foot in a short time. Bread and other things directly on site. Very friendly staff throughout.NegatīvaisThe sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. Swimming cap for the pool...really now? You can hear the road sometimes more, sometimes less... Otherwise it was very quiet.A beautiful place to explore Volterra and San Gimignano.I stayed here for 4 nights in the high season and was satisfied. Beautiful e-bike tours to San Gimignano or Castello Querceto are possible. Volterra is right nearby anyway.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. The pool was unfortunately just tipped over.
Sanitary facilities very old, dirty, not cleaned, didn't like using the toilet or shower. It was also brittle, tiles were missing and cobwebs were everywhere.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais! - 4.0RRRené R.septembris 20204.0RRRené R.septembris 2020Pozitīvibeautiful location friendly operators natural pitchesNegatīvaisSanitary facilities wellReal camping without the glamping nonsenseWe received a very friendly welcome on the site and were able to choose a free pitch easily. The site is quite natural, so some of the pitches are quite uneven. If you want to stand upright with a camper van, you can use a gravel plateau.
The pitches vary greatly in size and are divided up using ropes....
The small swimming pool is well maintained. Bread rolls can be ordered at the reception.
The sanitary facilities are simple and dated.

There was plenty of shade.NegatīvaisUnfortunately you have to bring your own toilet paper and soap. The sanitary facilities are very basic and getting on in years.Perfect starting point for exploring VolterraThe campsite is in a great location and we could reach Volterra on foot. It was also nice that there were plenty of shady pitches. The Wi-Fi is included and also had sufficient range.
Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and could do with an upgrade. You have to bring your own toilet paper and soap for washing your hands.
For us, a good place for a stopover.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. You can get to the center on foot. The sanitary facilities were perfectly in order during our visit and, above all, clean. The only thing missing was a washing machine. We had plenty of space for our camper van. Bread roll service is available as well as a swimming pool and a small bar. Highly recommended!Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais!

Janice D.oktobris 20171.0Janice D.oktobris 2017PozitīviClose to the city of Volterra Plenty of space in low season, few people Central to other cities in Tuscany Nice staffNegatīvaisSmelly sanitary facilities uncleanliness Street noise and ringing bellsHigh expectations, nasty surprisesThe photos on the homepage of this campsite look very promising. But as soon as you arrive here, you quickly realize that photos don't always reflect reality. The site itself is well located, you can get to the town quickly and the proximity to other towns such as San Gimignano or Siena is also a plus.... Our dog can finally run free here and be a dog again. Nevertheless, we don't stay here for more than a day. The sanitary facilities are an imposition. Apparently nobody cleans here. It smells like rotten eggs, the showers and toilets are almost dark as soon as you close the door, and there are bugs, ants and other creepy-crawlies everywhere in the toilet. So even on a campsite I expect a certain level of cleanliness! Nothing is mentioned on the homepage about the half-hourly and one-hourly church bells and the noise level of the street next door. You have nature all around you, but you can't enjoy the peace and quiet.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Manfred K.maijs 20171.0Manfred K.maijs 2017PozitīviClose to Volterra, beautiful plots.NegatīvaisSanitary facilities - not possibleJust one word: too badCP is well located, Volterra can be reached quickly on foot or by bike and is definitely worth a visit. The pitches are large, level and everything is possible from sun to shade. But cleanliness is something else than wetting the toilet garden hose, ugh. Even if the site is older, cleaning is always... possible. We were there on 19.05.2017 (and only one day, then the stench is enough), should cost a maximum of 15€, because you have to use your own sanitary facilities, definitely not 30€! A real shame.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais! - 3.0RKRoman K.aprīlis 20173.0RKRoman K.aprīlis 2017PozitīviProximity to VolterraNegatīvaisUnclean and broken / worn-out sanitary facilities that stinkPerfect place to explore VolterraThe campsite is located directly below the old town of Volterra and can be reached by bike within a few minutes. The staff is very friendly and courteous, but the first positive impression is significantly diminished by the sanitary facilities. They are very old and partly broken. They are also not very clean, which results in an unpleasant smell. Unfortunately, this is a reason for us not to recommend the campsite.Automātiski tulkots.Nevienam kemperim šis vērtējums vēl nav noderīgs. Esi pirmais!
