The site is well maintained, the sanitary facilities are clean and modern, and the location right on the lake is simply fantastic. We particularly like the mixture of nature, tranquillity and yet great activities... for children and families.
Our children love the playground and swimming in the lake - while we adults enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the friendly neighbors. The staff are also always helpful and in a good mood.
You can just tell that they put their hearts into their work here. For us, vacations at Freizeitcenter Oberrhein have become a cherished tradition - we'll definitely be back! It is clear that it is cramped to accommodate many people.
I think the beach bar is really overpriced.
At the restaurant "zur Theke" you can only order at the front kiosk or via cell phone, I find it very impersonal and you can/should leave a tip before eating and drinking.

Very nice and friendly staff, whether in the supermarket, at the reception or in the restaurant "Seeblick" The food is very tasty and the price and quantity are excellent.NeigiamiOnce again we didn't like the fact that the beach bar opens and closes when it wants to. With 3 raindrops it is not even opened, although it is covered. Perhaps a small comment. We would be very happy if you could make a fridge magnet with the map of the area. It would go down well with the guests. And because the course is very child-friendly, you might want to think about a mascot with associated merchandise.Always beautifulIt is one of our favorites . The people, whether at reception, in the supermarket or the two restaurants, are all super friendly and always ready for a quick chat. We have rarely experienced anything like it. Sanitary facilities always clean. Sufficient selection in the small supermarket. Delicious bread rolls and baked goods. You can find what you need. The icing on the cake are the lakes for cooling off in summer temperatures. This place goes on the list: We'll be back again 😀NeigiamiThe rainy weather during our stay was not ordered 😉...but no one can be held responsible for that.Pure friendlinessAs already described in the pros and cons section, we are completely satisfied with this campsite. The atmosphere is relaxed and very family-friendly.
There are various activities for the little ones.
The food in both restaurants was very tasty and plentiful. The pizzas at the counter were made with fresh ingredients.
The pork knuckle at Seeblick is highly recommended.

Once a cassette was stuck, the other station was closed and we were only able to empty it at the 3rd station. It's not much fun driving around the whole site in a camper van. Then we also had to realize that the 5-star facility has no emptying station. We had to queue in front of the gate on the pitch. Great sanitary facilities also the new one at the fishing lakeNeigiamiSince I have only recently been affected by my wife myself and am partly dependent on disabled showers and toilets, I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the 3 pieces and these are very widely distributed.Vacation 2024It is a great campsite that we used to use again and again with our children, afterwards my wife and I also use this beautiful campsite and are actually positive only what I unfortunately have to criticize but unfortunately you only notice when you are affected by it yourself that there are simply too... few disabled showers / toilets. What really surprised me this year was the new wash house at the fishing lake this was completely rebuilt and in this modern super nice wash house no disabled shower / toilet has been considered which I find a big mistake and also can not understand especially since I assume that the operator should also know that there are unfortunately more and more people with disabilities not only old but now also younger, so I have to rate this as negative. I would be happy if the operator would at least make a change to the new wash house as there would then be at least 4 disabled showers/toilets on the whole site.Automatiškai išversta.

The place seems to be well organized. We felt comfortable. I think the mix of permanent campers and tourist pitches is successful. The pitches are big enough. However, the areas for the awning are often earthy because there is no grass. They should be paved with gravel. Restaurant was good, staff, well, rather... unmotivated.
The Huber-Hof in Iffezheim was great, excellent regional fruit and vegetables at good prices. Offenburg, just happened to be passing by, definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, our stay was anything but relaxing.
The tent meadow is large and was always full during our stay. We had pitches Z1 and Z2, which were directly in front of the sanitary building. This proved to... be a major disadvantage. The constant through traffic, especially from flip-flop wearers, was extremely annoying and unmistakable at night. There was no peace and quiet at night, as the quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am were hardly observed. Even at 5 a.m. there were people who thought they had to do the washing up.
Another point of criticism is the pitch occupancy. In our opinion, caravans and motorhomes have no place on a tent pitch, but it was different here. The regular pitches were full, so a camper van was squeezed onto the already overcrowded tent meadow without further ado. That is not acceptable!
We would like to make a positive mention of the sanitary facilities. They were always clean and we would like to praise the cleaner of the sanitary building at the tent meadow. They definitely deserve a pay rise!
The bathing lakes at the campsite are beautiful and offer refreshing cooling in summer. However, it was annoying for us that day guests also had access. This reduced the already scarce shady spots even further. Priority should have been given to camping guests here.
The e-scooters were a major annoyance. These raced across the campsite at speeds of 20 to 25 km/h, which is completely inappropriate for safety reasons. Most motorists and cyclists kept to walking speed, only the e-scooter riders did not.
The location of the square, on the other hand, is positive.
