- Ii B.július 2016Unfortunately opposite the road into the Ardeche valleyGreat place right on the Ardeche with a large, quiet swimming area in the river but also a large pool. Unfortunately, the road opposite runs through the valley with two small tunnels. Idiotic motorcyclists deliberately rev up here or provoke backfires. It's totally annoying. There is no small store and it is a long way to the next village.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Alexander T.augusztus 2015PozitívumokLocationNegatívumokSanitary facilitiesOther places in the Ardechetal are better. We stayed at this campsite for 2 nights at the end of August. We went to the campsite because it accepts camping cheques. The reception was very friendly and went quickly. The location directly on the Ardeche is actually not bad, but during the day there is a lot of traffic noise from the road directly... opposite the campsite. However, it is quiet at night. The pitches are terraced and large enough. However, I would have reservations with caravans due to the steepness of the paths and the size of the pitches. The sanitary facilities are old and no longer quite up to date. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired. There is no separation between men and women. The canoe rental on site is too expensive compared to the other providers in Vallon Pont`d Arc. We couldn't find a market, but there is at least a drinks vending machine. Breakfast baguettes are available in the restaurant in the morning. We didn't try the restaurant. Due to the numerous other campsites on offer in the area (I have already stayed at 2 others), I would choose a different campsite next time.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Uwe H.május 2015PozitívumokTop location in the first row on the ArdecheNegatívumokAdventurous approach and steep paths on the campsite.Beautiful location directly on the ArdecheWe went to the site for 3 days because a) it takes camping cheques and b) it is one of the few that has pitches directly on the Ardeche. If you're lucky, you can at least get one in the low season. We were there on our way to the Cote d'Azur in May and the site was pretty empty, so we got a pitch right... in the front row by the Ardeche. Getting there is a bit of an adventure and not for the faint-hearted. From Vallon, you have to drive through Savalas and then turn left after the village and it's first a few kilometers through the pampas, then directly along the rock face and then up an incline. At the top there is a narrow section just before the hilltop, after which you reach the campsite. We were traveling with our caravan and you hope that no one is coming towards you. Once you reach the campsite, it's a bit of an adventure, especially if you want to go all the way down to the Ardeche. The terrain drops off sharply. Again, you hope that it's dry on the roads on the descent, otherwise the wheels slip, especially on the front-wheel drive. But everything worked out fine. The location is of course excellent (see pictures). However, you can hear the cars driving opposite on the higher road, but also sometimes see adventurous maneuvers of bus drivers, etc. Baguettes are available in the restaurant in the morning, if it's not already closed. It's great to be able to hire kayaks directly from the campsite, including a return service, and Vallon is also easy to get to in the evening.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- tom w.május 2013The site is ideally located for outdoor activities. Very nice staff. However, only French is spoken at reception.Automatikusan lefordítva.
- Jana N.október 2012We stayed here twice in October 2012 - once on the outward journey to the Mediterranean, and on the return journey we stopped here again for 1 night. The location directly on the Ardeche is unique and fantastically beautiful. In summer this place is certainly very crowded, but in October we were able... to enjoy peace and nature. The reception staff were all very friendly. The sanitary facilities are equipped with everything you need, but the shower water was quite cool for the time of year and the cleanliness was so-so. During our first stay it was still ok, apart from the cobwebs on the ceilings, which certainly hadn't been there for a day. On our second stop, however, it was less nice, especially as a youth group (school class?) was camping on the site at the same time and certainly played a big part in the uncleanliness. In such cases, it should simply be checked more often. Otherwise a really nice place in a fantastic location. We will definitely be back again.Automatikusan lefordítva.
