The lake is very clean and clear. It seems as if the world is in order there. You come across squirrels, birds, dragonflies, toads, small lizards, snakes, beetles and, of course, mosquitoes.
The permanent campers and owners are super nice, flexible... and helpful.
I wish more people would appreciate this place and not destroy or damage it, because the owners put a lot of love into it and you can see that.

A sanitary building with newly renovated showers and WC areas is centrally located on the site and is open 24/7 for all campers. Right next to the sanitary block is... the covered outdoor kitchen, with gas stove, fridge and seating for eating. The site is also easily accessible for backpackers with a regional train station approx. 3.5 km away and you can be in the center of Berlin in 30 minutes.

Except that I can't be there all the time. 😉Fantastic location, crystal clear lake, sauna, nice people, yogaI love this campsite, it's like a second home. Idyllically situated in the forest on one of the most beautiful and cleanest lakes in Brandenburg. I've been swimming in this lake in summer for 30 years, and I've also been there regularly with my caravan for 3 years. Nice people, a relaxed atmosphere,... no mass tourism and very quiet on weekdays in the low season. I particularly appreciate the sauna, which is regularly heated free of charge. I don't take part in the yoga courses, but it's nice that there are such things. I particularly like the fact that there is no tarmac and you are standing on sand in the middle of the forest. I also like the fact that there is a relaxation area. I always book there. It's just a shame that I can't always be there. The campsite has become a second home for me. I meet lots of nice people there and see them again next year. The highlights were the yoga classes with Kim and the sauna at the weekend. There is a small outdoor kitchen and a fridge. The location right on the lake is simply fantastic - going straight into the water in the morning is an experience in itself. I would particularly like to highlight the hosts, who are incredibly friendly, open and helpful. You feel welcome and well looked after... from the very first moment. The pitches are beautifully laid out, spacious and offer plenty of peace and privacy so that you can relax straight away. The sauna is an absolute highlight: modern, cozy and with a great view - perfect for unwinding after an active day. In summer, there are also yoga sessions at weekends, which round off the relaxation package perfectly. The combination of nature, relaxation and a warm atmosphere makes this place a real insider tip. If you love nature, this is the place for you. The lake is suitable for SUP, swimming, fishing and canoeing. Dogs are welcome and there are wonderful paths around the campsite for walks and bike rides. Groß Köris is within walking distance... and offers everything you need. The campsite managers are super friendly, always eager to help and helpful. We've been coming here for years and feel incredibly comfortable with our children and dogs. Situated in the middle of the pine forest, directly on the lake - fishing, swimming, canoeing, everything your heart desires. We've been coming here for years at different times of the year, even in spring when it's cold and damp and rainy, it's lovely... here, then you just go to the sauna or sit around the fire with the owners and permanent campers. Everyone is super nice here, you are given a friendly welcome and everything can be done, but nothing has to be - just as it should be on vacation! The location is great, everything can be reached by bike and if necessary you are close to Berlin if the big city beckons. The sanitary facilities are simple, but always clean and tidy.
