Rustic camping
We stayed at this campsite for one night. Supposedly still in the "high season", but even the reception is only staffed for a few hours. We arrived during the lunch break and were able to choose a pitch ourselves. Everything was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, there isn't really anything else there. The sanitary facilities are also quite outdated and don't look as if they are cleaned regularly.

Nice little place, on a great lake with real Swedish nature all around
Beautiful, small campsite away from the main roads and tourist routes. Quiet and not overcrowded, run by a nice Dutch family. Uncomplicated check in. Information, bread rolls, ice cream, pastries, cakes, coffee and small souvenirs are available at reception. The campsite is located in the forest and... on the edge of the village right by the lake, small store in the village. From the campsite you can hike wonderfully into the Swedish wilderness. We walked 10km alone in the forest and along rivers without meeting anyone. All we found of moose were piles and remains...
The lake with bathing jetty is great, beautiful sunbathing lawn. There are various pitches, on the meadow and in the forest, free and without electricity, or you have a very long power cable with you. Fixed pitches with numbers, mostly under trees, which are also very spacious. The site was about 60 percent full in July at peak time and very quiet, not overcrowded, you have your peace and quiet here. There is a rowing boat for hire and a few small vacation cabins right on the lake. The sanitary facilities were small and clean, 3 toilets and three showers, which was perfectly adequate. Also in the sanitary building is a room for washing up and a fully equipped kitchen with a lounge for free use.

nice place, but......
The site has very good pitches by the lake, meadow and forest. For shopping there is a country store with basic groceries within walking distance. Fishing in the lake and put and take. The big drawback is the sanitary facilities - they are shitholes. Assessment after 9 days stay.

Good investment
For couples in the older section (over 50) a super spacious resort. We were there in July and not at all crowded, the nearby lake was very clean. The resort was very well run, the overall rating for the resort ****
