Gorgeous scenery, comfortable glamping tents, seating areas, fire-pit, lakes for fishing or water sports, clean and well appointed and equipped showers and kitchen. One of the nicest campgrounds we have been to.
Negativne strane
We were not greeted by anyone, as there was no staff around, we were not given instructions on where to check in, given that we had booked 2 glamping tents, not 2 campsites. We were forced to wait in the scorching sun, so naturally shaded spaces (peomized on the website) were almost non-existent. There are no clear rules on the use of the common areas, and on departure, before check-out time, an employee started going into the tents to check if they were empty, violating our privacy. Luckily we were already on our way out.
A venue with potential, but the experience was marred by organizational chaos
I recommend improved communication with the client, clear rules communicated before arrival, clear instructions on the use of common areas and more care in the way guests are approached. The place has huge potential but the organization needs to keep up.

- Lots of space - Great as a base camp for exploring the Faragas mountains

- Ice cold showers - No shade from trees (yet) - Floodlights on at night, not ideal for sleeping in a tent
Beautiful views
This campsite has evidently been created with much care and thoughtfulness. It's tranquil, spacious and has a fantastic view into the mountains. The barbecue area is lovely, with both a indoor and outdoor kitchen nearby. The site has lots of space for kids to run around and play.

However, while we appreciate... the site's eco/solar-powered spirit, we did not appreciate the ice cold showers. It's also not great for tent campers that floodlights are kept running throughout the night - the campsite would otherwise be a fantastic spot for stargazing!

Best camping experience
Very unique clamping/ camping space in the middle of Romania, surrounded by mountains.
All facilities are taken care to the smallest details. Not only the place is amazing but the hosts are very friendly and willing to help.
Everything is built with consideration to nature and eco friendlyin a very clean and quiet environment.

Very beautiful mountain view,
maximum cleanliness,
a lot of peace, increased comfort
and the kindness of the hosts - all of which made our stay at the Garden of Hell a memorable one!
