"Quiet place, surrounded by nature - Beautiful campsite in the countryside, yet not far from Winterswijk or Obelink. The comfort pitches were nice and large. Sufficient sanitary facilities and always clean, even when the site was almost full. Nice bike tours can be made from the site. WLAN is free and works. There is a store with the essentials and fresh bread rolls in the morning. The pizza in the restaurant was also good. Nice indoor pool and outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was occupied almost every lunchtime by swimming courses, so that only a third of the pool was free for the camping guests. The site is beautifully designed and the night's rest was respected.

"Great place - The site is in a very nice location. Despite the fact that it is very large and quickly gets full on holidays and the like, you still have peace and quiet. This site is very nice for families, it offers everything. There are plenty of playgrounds and a swimming pool. I can also go on very good cycling or hiking tours here. I think the prices are a bit high. We had a separate bathroom, but the price was still quite high. You can now get a good vacation apartment with heating and co. for the price. As a tip, if you travel in the fall/winter and book a separate bathroom, take a fan heater with you. These bathrooms are not heated.

"Room for improvement online - A large campsite that probably also benefits a little from its proximity to Obelink. But this is only because of campers like us. We were looking for a place to spend the night after visiting the camping equipment distributor and found it here and booked it online. And from the moment we arrived and inspected the site, we had a completely different opinion. The site operator is full of ideas to make this site appear special. There is space for all campers, no matter what they are traveling with. There is an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor pool, accommodation from normal to special, an adjoining store with the essentials and lots of land and water. Just walking around the campsite is fun and there are interesting things to see everywhere. The only negative point is that the online allocation of pitches needs to be checked. We reserved a pitch online. After our reservation, the online tool said that everything was full. However, this was not the case during our visit. On the other hand, unbooked visitors were still warmly welcomed. I don't begrudge them that, but I don't understand why the pitches in particular were shown as fully booked and then 3 pitches were free all night? We wanted to arrive with 2 motorhomes. And remember, camper van drivers greet each other.

"Lots of mud, little power - We were on a comfort pitch with our own bathroom. However, when it rains (and we had a lot of it), the whole pitch turns into a muddy mess. The separate bathroom is very large. However, it has no heating and no windows. If you're on vacation there in October like we were, it can get pretty cold. Fortunately, we had a fan heater with us. However, we had a lot of stress with power cuts and for most of the week we only had about 190 volts from the socket. Which caused our fridge to constantly warn us. Very annoying. Especially as the groundsman said to our neighbor: "Why do you want to heat at night, you should sleep there." He could definitely do with some training in dealing with customers and his own prices. He didn't know the surcharge from 10 to 16 amps. It's not on the internet either. There was no toilet paper for the rented bathroom either. The reception just said: You can buy it here in the store. In addition to the completely overpriced bread rolls. The water in the free swimming pool could have been 2-3 degrees warmer. We will NOT be back.

"Great place - The ladies at reception are all very nice and friendly! The pitches are very spacious and there are small play areas all over the site, as well as a large playground. The campsite is really beautiful and well maintained. The sanitary facilities were generally clean. The bathroom is small but nice. Water could be a bit warmer. There are plenty of shops in the town, and a very nice pedestrian area for shopping We found the price-performance ratio too high.

We have special paved pitches for motorhomes that are located just outside the campsite and are ideal for a short stay, for example, when visiting the Obelink amusement park. Camping Vreehorst has all the facilities you need during your holiday. Take a dip in the indoor or outdoor pool, grab a bite to eat at the food corner, take part in one of our many sports or rent a bike and go exploring! Besides all these fun activities, there are also important facilities such as the clean toilet blocks, which you can use for free, and the launderette, where you can do a load of washing if necessary. There is also a shop where you can get fresh bread rolls every morning, and in the park there is an inspiration point where you can get inspiration for the various trips and places of interest. There is plenty to keep children entertained in the Achterhoek region. From indoor play areas to high ropes courses, escape rooms and an amusement park just over the border, there is no chance of them getting bored.
