convenient transit point on the way to Provence
We have now been to this campsite twice on the way to Lac de St. Croix. The prices are very moderate. Otherwise, the site is relatively "alternative" and functional. Everything works, but that's about it. I would recommend wearing flip-flops when entering the sanitary facilities. You get clean under... the shower, but I can't imagine camping here for any length of time. All the outbuildings, which are no longer in use, look rather dilapidated. Either tear them down or use them for something else. But that's just a shabby picture.

Were for 2 nights by chance on this cheap place. The area is worth a stay, the place was only about 30% full in mid-June. When it gets full, the sanitary facilities become scarce. The operator gave us a friendly welcome and speaks good English, even a few words of German. You should treat yourself to... the croissants in the morning (pre-ordered). The pool is also quite nice. The pitches are laid out in terraces and are large enough. He sometimes lets his horse run free on the site, which disturbed some, we found it rather entertaining and we were able to run great laps with the dog from the site.

Nice place to spend the night
We have stayed at the campsite several times, always as an overnight stop on the way south or back. In July 2016 for the first time for two nights because the surroundings are very beautiful. The site is well located close to the D1075 Grenoble-Col Croix Haute-Sisteron, but without interfering with it.... Access from the south is signposted through Saint-Martin de Clelles, but this is not recommended for larger motorhomes or caravans, as the road in the village is very narrow. It is better, whether coming from the north or south, to leave the D1075 north of Saint-Martin de Clelles. For the southbound exit, the road through the village is also indicated. The top access road on the D1075 speaks in favor of this option, while the narrow road through the village speaks against it. There is a parking bay in front of the entrance to the campsite; it is advisable to stop there, as the site itself is narrow and relatively steep. The site itself is terraced and divided into individual pitches. Many trees provide plenty of shade, but without making breakfast in the sun impossible. The sanitary facilities are simple, but serve their purpose. There is a small restaurant at the reception and bread can also be ordered. The small pool is very popular with young people.
