Unfortunately,... the trip there was a disaster. We booked an early check-in, arrived, and were told it wasn’t possible to check in at that time!!! After some back-and-forth, we were allowed to check in, but we didn’t have a campsite. The temporary spot we were assigned had to be changed again 2.5 hours later. We did not receive a refund for the early arrival fee. In general, the “temporary staff member” didn’t seem particularly eager to ensure a pleasant stay. At check-in, you’re given a site map, but it’s hard to read and confusing, especially regarding the campsites. This is also evident in how the RVs and trailers are arranged. Electricity isn’t available individually for every site; our outlet was occupied, so we had to get a splitter from the front desk and plug it in between.... It didn’t look very clean. The washroom looked very dated. The food at the bistro was okay in terms of both price and taste. As expected, it was fully booked, and there was a corresponding rush of arrivals at the front desk. The woman behind the counter, working in her non-air-conditioned room, went out of her way to be friendly and absolutely helpful.
Given the crowds, the... restrooms were also very busy but by no means dirty. I’ve stayed at other places during peak season where that wasn’t the case.
It’s not a place for a two-week vacation, but it’s perfectly fine for 3 or 4 days. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and the kiosk were all very friendly and helpful.

We didn't know if there was a sauna; it wouldn't have been necessary anyway, since we were in Nuremberg during the hottest weekend of the year and, luckily, were able to use the showers anytime for free and without any time limit.
