Tanja z.lipanj 2026Falkenstein LakeEverything was great, from booking to checkout. The campground is clean and inviting. The mini-market is well-stocked. We were there with our kids and dog and felt right at home. The dog-friendly lake was closed (due to blue-green algae), but an alternative area was set up by the lake where dogs could... run around without disturbing the other swimmers. We hardly saw our two boys (age 10) because they were always busy doing something. The grounds and facilities were very well maintained; the restrooms were clean and well-kept, and were cleaned several times a day. The staff was nice and friendly.

- Andreas K.svibanj 2026Falkenstein LakeWe were on the large meadow during the Highland Games and were able to experience the Scottish spectacle as if we were right in the middle of it. One downside, however, is the price next year, as we will have to pay €30 more because of a public holiday that doesn't even exist in this region. In our opinion,... this is disproportionate and we and the other 14 participants in our group are therefore considering whether it makes sense to come back next year. That is a great pity.

The location directly on the lake is wonderful, it is very quiet from the roads and offers plenty of space for children and dog owners. The restaurant and breakfast buffet are also great.
