In the fall, everything was littered here - probably from the previous season. The operators don't think much of service and helpfulness. Electricity connection could not be provided - although the existing... (dilapidated) huts are all supplied with electricity. The hotel on site has probably seen better days. Daniel H.August 2012If you drive the Transfagaras from Sibiu, there is a small bridge with the sign Cumpana (off to the right) before the reservoir The campsite is located at the northern end of the reservoir. It can be reached via a 7 km long forest road which winds along the shore with some adventurous passages. Four-wheel... drive vehicles and motorcyclists will of course be delighted. But you can also get there with any other vehicle. The location is really fantastic but even in summer it is quite cool in the evening as it is situated at an altitude of around 800m. Sanitary is available but in a bad condition. In the adjacent hotel there are also toilets which are also far from the European standard. Overnight costs are the equivalent of €3.50 per car, no matter how many people are in it.
