Camping Vacation
We arrived as a group with two cargo bikes and an e-bike, and despite arriving after the regular check-in time at 7:00 p.m., we were given a very warm welcome. All the important information was clearly explained to us, and the layout of the grounds was well described.

The campground is centrally located... within the resort yet sits in a pleasantly quiet corner. Overall, the entire resort was very clean, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and we really enjoyed the food at the bistro.

It was especially important to us to be able to spend three relaxing and peaceful days—and that’s exactly what we were able to do here.

Short drive, beautiful lake
Beautifully located, very quiet, with well-maintained bike paths—highly recommended, especially for a short getaway.
The bistro/pizzeria is not recommended: the pizza was good, but the staff was very unfriendly—something we’d already experienced on previous stays. This time, it was definitely our last... visit: dirty tables, extremely unfriendly staff. We recommend the Alt-Rhein Klause or the Reiterhof instead…
The staff at the front desk were very friendly, and the stay was very hassle-free.

A Great Getaway
It was our first time here, and we felt very comfortable. Great Kollersee, clean and spacious restrooms, and a bread roll delivery service. Everything was great. We'll be back next year.

The booking, check-in, and check-out all went smoothly. We really liked the campsite itself, and the proximity to the lake is great. Unfortunately, access isn’t exactly easy, since you have to walk down a steep slope (meadow), which is particularly tricky in flip-flops. A second set of stairs at the... path in the middle of the campground would be desirable here.
All in all, the restroom facilities were fine, but there were far too few for the number of campers. We had our spot in the back area, and the facilities there had only two showers (one for men and one for women). You often had to wait in line to use them. The three toilets (in the women’s area) were also frequently all occupied, and having only one sink for a quick morning wash is, unfortunately, far too few.
There is a second (larger) restroom building right next to the entrance, but it was usually occupied as well.
Overall, though, we really liked the campground with its shop, the weekly market, and the other amenities.

Great "small" campground
A really nice campground with a manageable number of campsites. Very friendly staff.
Easy to get in and out. Lots of information available via the app.
Everything is within easy reach.
Water and electricity right at the campsite.
Bread delivery service available; ordering and payment are easy. The same... goes for the small market.
Trash disposal is available at any time.
The restrooms are clean, though there are sometimes short wait times during peak hours.
The lake and beach area are very well-maintained and clean.
The bistro offers pizza, pasta, and salads. Our pizza was delicious. Ice cream and drinks are available at several locations.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is poor. The paths are covered with gravel, which makes it difficult to transport items from the carts. It’s also not very comfortable to walk on.
But all these “complaints” are minor.
We’ll definitely be back. We felt completely at home.

Access to the lake is via a dike. Unfortunately, there are permanent structures in the first row.
Simple and good
We were there with our RV and had a spot at the end of the row facing the lake. The bistro has lovely outdoor seating with a view of the lake. The restrooms are very modern and clean. A bike ride across the Rhine on the ferry to Schwetzingen—with its beautiful castle—is always worth it. Heidelberg and Speyer are also easily accessible by bike.

The proximity to the lake and the lake itself, with its large beach area, are very beautiful.
The campground seems to have sprung up out of nowhere, so a lot of it is new, but it seems poorly planned.
The second washhouse has two showers for men and women right at the entrance; everything is completely... flooded.
Since trees don’t grow all that fast, the site has virtually no shade; in my opinion, they could at least provide artificial shade for areas like the main path.
All the paths are made of gravel.
The children’s playground consists of a swing, which is closed off, and a ping-pong table with a rough surface, making it unsuitable. Otherwise, there are no play areas for children. The bistro was completely overwhelmed. I was offered a warm wheat beer, and unfortunately, they were out of fries. How a bistro can run out of frozen food and have beer that isn’t cold on a weekend when it’s expected to be busy is a mystery to me.
We had to pay for Wi-Fi, but it was obviously so overloaded that even the poor cell service was better.
The front desk staff was very friendly, and the beer there was better and cheaper than at the bistro (the bistro appears to be run by a tenant).
The food itself at the bistro was good.
The campsite was sufficiently large and easily accessible (the road width was fine).
We won’t be coming back for the time being. I can’t understand why this campground has been rated so highly compared to other campgrounds.

A Short Getaway at Lake Kollersee
A beautiful, family-friendly campground run with great passion by the owner family. You can tell right away that the campers’ needs are the top priority here and that they’re constantly working to make improvements.

The restrooms are modern and exceptionally clean—they place a high priority on cleanliness... here. The entire campground is very well-maintained and, despite its modest size, pleasantly quiet and personal.

Its location right on Kollersee is fantastic. The sunsets, especially when out on the water on a SUP, are a highlight every time and make our stay here something truly special.

We love coming back again and again and can wholeheartedly recommend this campground!

Our favorite campsite at Kollersee - relaxation, nature and hospitality
We've been to the campsite at Kollersee four times now and always enjoy coming back. Our first stay was in 2021 during the Corona period - and even then we were thrilled.
The location is simply outstanding: right on the beautiful Kollersee with clear water and a great sandy beach. The site is ideal for... families with children, as the little ones can have lots of fun here. The area is also a real paradise for anglers.
We would particularly like to highlight the campsite operators. They are always friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome as a guest.
We felt completely at ease during every stay and are already looking forward to our next visit. For us, the campsite at Kollersee is definitely a clear recommendation!

Everything was great, except that the woman in the tent next to us was annoyed by the nightingale's singing at night, hehe.
Just great
There were four of us—cyclists, one of whom was riding an e-bike. There was a convenient way to charge the e-bike’s battery. The campground was great, and the new trees promise that there will be even more shade in the future. The facilities really had everything you could ask for. We were especially impressed by how clean the restrooms were and how friendly the staff at the front desk was.

A very beautiful location by the lake. The campsites are spacious but offer no shade. Dogs are welcome.

The second washhouse is very basic, with just two showers for men and women, and is consequently quite dirty. Younger campers also don’t respect the quiet hours—partying until 12:30 a.m. and letting children make noise and shout on the grounds until 11:00 p.m. Even though the brochure states that there are no parties allowed on the grounds.
No benefits for members of the Camping App
For that price, we've booked better campsites before; we only liked this one because of its beautiful location.

It would be great if on the road outside the campsite on one side the trees 🌳 were cut back further (when driving out) if a caravan or caravan comes towards you, there is a danger if you are not careful and drive too far to the right you can get scratches.
Always beautiful.
We always like to come back, it's so nice to see something happening on the course.
The pitches are always in top condition. And not to forget the toilets and showers are always spotlessly clean.

Nice quiet place on the lake, suitable for paddlers, bathers and very dog-friendly

The space is relatively new and therefore there is still little shade as the plants still have to thrive
Great for campers with a boat
A great place for us on a great lake. We were there with the kayak for paddling. You have to walk a few minutes to get into the water with your dog and boat, but the beach is really nice and big. You can also get into the water directly on the beach without your dog.
The site is in a quiet location,... you can only really hear the birds at night. The pitches come in different sizes, so there's a suitable pitch for everyone. There are also shepherd's caravans, safari tents and other mobile homes.
The staff and operators are really nice. The site is well maintained. There is a restaurant with good pizza and fresh ice cream. However, shopping facilities can only be reached by car. We've been there twice and will definitely be back.

Your box seat in nature - thought through with mind and heart
5/5 stars - An absolute gem in the nature reserve!
We are absolutely thrilled with this campsite! The location in the middle of nature is simply fantastic and immediately invites you to relax. You can tell at every turn that there's a really well thought-out concept behind it - from the layout of the... pitches to the paths.
The sanitary facilities were clean and modern at all times of the day. Huge praise also goes to the entire team on site: super friendly, helpful and always with a smile on their faces.
The campsite strikes the perfect balance for all generations. Families with children as well as senior citizens will find just the right mix of activity, comfort and heavenly tranquillity here. We will definitely be back!

Very friendly team, the pitch and the sanitary facilities are very well maintained. Small "weekly market" on Fridays and Saturdays.

The adjoining bistro could be a hit in this location with a little more commitment. . Had a pizza which was ok. Seems to be run externally.

The site is in a great location on Kollersee in the countryside. The operator team is very welcoming, the site and the sanitary facilities are very well maintained.

Tent pitch a bit wavy in places.
In short, I felt very comfortable there
I really enjoyed the campsite. It started at reception with the super-friendly staff and the manager. You feel welcome as a guest from the very first moment.

The wristband you get for the sanitary facilities is a bit awkward. It works perfectly - even the shower is operated directly with it. The 10... euro deposit is the obstacle. It's understandable that a deposit is charged. It's awkward if you have to leave before opening hours. But we found a solution for this too. Thank you for being so relaxed and cooperative.

I was there with a tent and my bike. The tent meadow is quite cosmopolitan and close to the sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, the meadow is a bit uneven in the front area. Not for thin camping mats. But everything was fine in the rear area.

I particularly liked the lockable boxes with power connections. Here you can charge your hany and battery without any worries. I felt that the €4.50 for a night's rental was a bit high for the amount of power that a cell phone and a small power bank need. Of course, the boxes also cost money and you can also charge other batteries in them. And in the end, one euro less doesn't make the difference.

Apart from that, it was super quiet on the pitch and the lake has a beautiful beach.

In short, I felt very comfortable there.

Starting with the first very friendly contact at the reception to the very nice and clean sanitary facilities to the last contact with the staff, the vacation was a success. We would love to come back.

There could be waiting times at the small sanitary building in high season. On Saturdays it got a bit noisy with the arrival of guests in the chalets due to lawn mowing.
Very nice stay
Overall, it was a very nice stay. You can explore the area very well by bike. Thanks to the ferry, which is about 2km away, on both sides of the Rhine. It would be desirable if fishing licenses for the Rhine or at least contact to appropriate places could be mentioned.
It was also practical that you could pay for the bread rolls on departure with the remaining costs.
