The sanitary facilities are very nicely furnished.NegatiivisetThere is just one small note: the shower cubicles lack a shelf for shower bottles. Otherwise, we didn't notice any disadvantages.Super weekendAs I said, there's nothing more to say except that we always enjoy coming back to camp. We had a very good pitch. We had a very good rest. The Womo is right next to the wake park. If you don't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle then this is perfect. However, there are only 2 toilets and 2 showers for men and women. If there's nothing going on, that's enough, but otherwise it gets... cramped or you have to walk a few meters to the wash house. Dogs cost €4.50/day, but for what service? 1 poop bag dispenser, no dog meadow. We have observed that many dog owners simply let their dog go somewhere - and do not remove it.
Grounds maintenance is still... carried out with noisy petrol equipment, and this at lunchtime when parents are happy that the children are having their lunch break.
The friendliness of the administrative staff leaves a lot to be desired.
Postcards are sold at reception, but no stamps.
The sanitary facilities are visually beautiful but impractical (no shelves, no seats, ...) This is difficult for older people.
5 toilets for 300 pitches is a bit cramped, and the toilets are installed at half height - probably because of the children. This is also not easy for older people. There are also toilets and showers at the reception, but they cost 50 cents without warning and are very far away.
The sink for the chemical toilet is original, but unhygienic.
A ray of hope is the restaurant, which offers good value for money and good fast food. It's okay that offers (such as mini-golf, kettcars, aquapark, pony rides etc.) cost something, but the prices are completely overpriced and so the offers can't be used more often or not at all if you don't want to pay a lot of money in addition to the pitch every day. e.g. with firewood per evening for €12, you don't do that every day for a week. Sanitary facilities clean and were always refilled and checked. Children are very welcome. Rules are largely adhered to. Quiet in the evening. Pitches are regularly mowed or maintained. Beautiful cycle paths everywhere. Sometimes you can get a pitch spontaneously. Paved forecourts in... places. Washing machine and dryer available. In the wash house there is the possibility to warm food on the hotplates. The site has probably grown too quickly and the infrastructure has fallen by the wayside. The site operators themselves are probably not experienced in camping.
In and of itself... a very nice place, but it's the little things that are simply annoying.
Too few toilets and showers, too warm in the sanitary building (air conditioning doesn't work and you can't open the windows either (you walk into a wall when you go into the building)
Some of the showers do not drain. There are no partitions in the showers, so clothes get wet when showering. No shelf, only hooks in the shower.

The gastronomy is sufficient and varied, from the beach bar to the lakeside pub. The modern and clean sanitary... building and the friendly, helpful staff deserve special praise. The night's rest is respected, which ensures a good night's sleep. One criticism is that in the high season there are occasional waiting times in busy areas (e.g. toilets). Overall, a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The children could ride ponies, make stick bread and ride pedal karts.
There is SUPing on the lake, a wake park with live music and good drinks.

In general, it would be a good idea to provide more shade. There is shade at the beach bar, but the children should please play at the Kidsbeach and of course there is no shade there. That's a real shame.Shadow wantedIt really is a good place for a vacation with children. Apart from the lack of shady spots, there is nothing to complain about.

Otherwise, the campsite has lost its charm in the last year. The prices for the children's activities have risen and in our opinion are no longer justified. The new wash house is still very nice, but the cleanliness has deteriorated. This was our 4th time at... the Mohrenhof for Halloween.
The Seekneipe was not open daily as usual during the fall vacation week. However, this was not announced on the homepage. So on the day of arrival we couldn't eat at the campsite as planned, but had to go out again by car and find something first.
As we were traveling with 4 families, we had a lot of fun. And the atmosphere at Halloeeen is really special. But in 2025 we will try out a different campsite. The pitch prices and the prices for the rental properties are now too high for the fact that the campsite is in the middle of the countryside, i.e. somewhere in the middle of nowhere. We won't be treating ourselves to this again. For the money, we prefer the location on Lake Garda with its far better infrastructure and Italian flair.
We've always loved staying at the Mohrenhof, but at some point the pain threshold is reached. When one door closes, a new one opens.Käännetty automaattisesti.
