This small, family-friendly campground offers everything families need. Instead of loud, over-the-top kids’ activities, there’s bread-on-a-stick by the lake, pony rides, and alpaca hikes. We had a campsite right on the lake with a beautiful view... of Lake Millstatt. The restroom facilities are top-notch. They’re a bit dated, but always clean, with plenty of water pressure and no annoying coin slots. There are plenty of showers available, so there’s no waiting in line. The entire campground is very well-maintained, and the staff is very friendly. Just like during our first stay, we rented an apartment located right on the campground. This way, you get the laid-back camping atmosphere combined with the added comfort of a vacation rental.... There are plenty of on-site recreational activities for the whole family, and you can even rent a SUP. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. You feel welcome, and the relaxation begins from day one. Shopping options are available either within walking distance at a small supermarket right next to the campground (they also have fresh rolls every morning) or just a few kilometers away in the nearest town, which is even open on Sundays.
