More beautiful than home
The tenants have a huge heart and make every effort. Great for campers of all kinds, whether motorhome, tent or caravan..... delicious homemade cakes, wonderful hot dishes. Eat like at home. Nothing and nothing to complain about. Super clean and well maintained. Bathroom a little older, but not at all annoying.

A clean small dog-friendly campsite
We, a retired couple with a German shepherd and a small dog, have just returned from our vacation at Gabi and Martin's. We would have liked to have added a few more days, but unfortunately we had medical appointments. So we are already looking forward to our next vacation with them.

We were greeted... very nicely by Gabi and were allowed to choose our own pitch.
It's a small, well-maintained campsite with about 30 tourist pitches and 15 permanent campers. The campers who were there gave us a nice and friendly welcome.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but it was always clean.

The whole site was tidy and well-kept.
We felt very comfortable.
Although Gabi and Martin had a lot to do, they only took over the site in April 25, they made time for a chat, despite all the work.

They are very dog-friendly, so there are a few dogs on the site.
Where dogs are allowed, you know when you book that it can sometimes get louder, and often the sympathy of the dogs among each other plays a role, understandably similar to us humans.

The pitches are the right size, so you are not so close to your neighbor.
Bread roll service
The site is ideal for people looking for peace and quiet. A pond with a barbecue wood is provided for barbecues, and there is a covered seating area.
From the site you can quickly reach the canal where you can go for a wonderful walk or relax on one of the benches and watch the cargo ships.

The forest with its many paths is particularly suitable for exercising your dog. You always discover new paths. You don't meet many people, so your dog can run free and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There are many pastures with horses and sometimes a hare runs across the path.

The small town is about 10-15 minutes walk away and you can get everything you need to enjoy a nice vacation, doctors are nearby.

A really simple place without a lot of frills. The sanitary facilities are getting on in years, but are definitely adequate. The village of Dörpen is only 600 m away and you can get everything your heart desires there.

IDEAL for campers without demands
This pitch is ideal for campers without any requirements. Dogs are free, water, waste water and electricity on the site. Beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back. We felt very comfortable. For two people and two dogs we paid €27 including electricity, which I think is okay.
