- 5.0JFJörg F.august 2026PositiivsedLocation in WerderNegatiivsedValue, Performance, and Transparency on the WebCampground with a wide range of servicesI’d recommend this campground, but not because of the price. 😊 It was the most expensive campground for what it offered. However, given the operators’ recent investments, I can understand their pricing policy. Sites 86, 87, and 88 don’t have an assigned water supply. Between our departure and arrival,... I used a watering can to fetch the water we needed from the vacant sites. Despite the restaurant and beer garden, the location was acceptable in terms of noise level. Except for the “ding-dong” from the beer garden—I even found myself whistling along. 😂 For inflatable boat users, the close proximity to the boat ramp was convenient. The downside, however, was the frequent coming and going of other boat owners’ vessels. The proximity to both the small and large swimming beaches is also worth mentioning. The staff at the restaurant and the beer garden are very friendly and service-oriented. The biggest praise, however, goes to the young woman at the front desk, though all the other staff members were also very friendly and solution-oriented. Overall, the campground is very clean, and the staff with the little electric carts were very hardworking. - 5.0KWKristin W.august 2026Camping Vacation 🏕️A very well-maintained campground with beautiful campsites, some right on the water. Modern and, above all, clean restroom facilities—thumbs up for that. There’s something for everyone—the kids can run around and play to their hearts’ content, whether on the beach, at the playground, or anywhere on the... grounds. There’s plenty of opportunity to relax here; thanks to the spacious sites, we always found a spot for our lounge chairs and were able to enjoy the peace and quiet. The food at the two restaurants was very good, and the price was a steal—under 50 euros for four people including drinks. That’s more than great, and it was delicious, too.

The lodge was beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. Even from inside, you always had a magnificent view of the lake.
The outdoor area was beautifully designed with a breakfast area, seating area, lounge chairs, and a daybed, right on the water. The evening lighting... created a very atmospheric ambiance. This year, the animal “roommates” were kept somewhat at a distance by nets. I thought that was a good solution, because the previous year the shore had been badly soiled by the ducks and swans.
In general, the campground near the water has a clean, quiet, friendly, and family-oriented atmosphere. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

- The trash room should be accessible at least during reception hours
- Unfortunately, the quality of the bread rolls from the bakery wasn’t up... to our standards; we ordered them twice and thought they were leftover from the day before… too bad
- Medium-coarse, paved camping sites would be great in the future. Right now, you’re just standing in dusty gravel. We had dry weather, but when it rains, you just end up getting your awning and camping gear all dirty.

I had a very pleasant phone conversation with a male staff member beforehand. Despite the short notice, he did everything he could to make it work. When I sent an email asking whether, as a solo traveler with a motorhome, I would have to pay an extra fee for the dog, the... manager herself replied, “No.” But when I arrived, she told me the price was much higher, and I also had to pay extra for the dog. When I politely pointed out the email mentioned above, she became very unfriendly. She said there was no option for a single-person booking. If I didn’t want to pay the price, she said, I didn’t have to stay!
Furthermore, the designated area for the dog was very strange. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a campground before! There was only a very small area where you were allowed to move around freely with your dog…

We weren’t able to set up our trailer the way we wanted to. A large tree was in the way, and there were new wooden fences on both the left and right. As a result, the awning... was crooked, and unfortunately, the “turf” was damaged. Some sites are also very close together. Otherwise, the campground is TOP-NOTCH. A lot of work has been done. The restrooms are undoubtedly excellent and very well-maintained (by the campground staff). Some campers could really pull themselves together and leave the facilities clean and tidy.
