What makes them special is that the toilets are completely enclosed. The showers are also completely enclosed, so you don’t end up standing in your neighbor’s shower water. The cleanliness was also fine. The site is very beautiful, laid... out in terraces with hedges between the sites. Unfortunately, we were in the bottom row and so couldn’t really enjoy the great panoramic view. But even the view up the mountain is worth it. The campground also has a very nice small pool with lounge chairs, where you could always find a spot, even though the campground felt fully booked. The size of the plot was a drawback for us. We travel with a trailer (a small one, 6.10 m with a drawbar) and needed to park our car on the campground as well. That wasn’t possible. There were a few parking spots—maybe 10—in front of the campground. However, as a caravan camper, we were definitely in the minority here, so this might not be a concern for many people. The vast majority of guests were motorhome campers who often stayed only a few days, which led to a noticeable amount of commotion. Dogs are allowed, and this was very well received. Few guests came without a dog. We like dogs and didn’t mind this, but I could imagine that if you’re afraid of dogs, it might be a different story. There’s also a bread roll delivery service; the rolls are delivered directly to the RVs in the morning. Great! * Restroom facilities (an absolute highlight): The restroom facilities are simply outstanding! There are completely enclosed rooms with individual... sinks (with soap dispensers) and individual showers (with additional shower doors), as well as private restrooms. This provides a great deal of privacy, which is rarely found at campgrounds. Everything is spotlessly clean.
* Service & Friendliness: The entire team is warm and helpful. There’s a bread roll service that delivers fresh, delicious rolls directly to your camper in the morning.
* Pool & Wellness: The pool area is beautifully designed and perfect for cooling off. They’ve even provided a changing room.
* Dining: Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our stay, so we can’t rate the food.
* Surroundings: The picturesque town of Glurns is just a short walk (through apple orchards) away (1.5 km).
Conclusion: An all-around well-maintained, quiet campground with thoughtfully designed, hotel-level amenities in the restroom facilities. During the day, relaxing by the pool is also a great idea.
Day trips to the surrounding area for cultural activities, hiking, and biking on trails away from the roads round out the day.

It is partially terraced on a beautiful hillside; the front sites, which offer an unobstructed view of the Ortler, are the slightly more... expensive premium sites. One of these rows is primarily reserved for smaller RVs (VW buses, rooftop tents).
The central building houses the reception desk, a good restaurant (popular—reservations are recommended), a small shop for essentials (including a bread delivery service), and the restroom facilities. These facilities are spacious, very well-maintained, and clean, with plenty of individual stalls for showers and sinks—great. The same goes for the dishwashing area; there are also washing machines available (€4), and the corresponding laundry detergent tablets can be purchased in the shop.
The campsites are on good-sized grassy areas with plenty of trees; however, after a long season and little rain, the ground does suffer a bit.
The staff is very friendly and service-oriented.
There are plenty of options for activities—on foot, by bike, or by bus/train. Nearby and absolutely impressive are, for example, the historic and still-operational Waalwege irrigation channels in Schluderns and Glurns, among many others. Ambitious cyclists (and others) will find a variety of tours ranging from easy to challenging; the Via Claudia Augusta and the Adige Valley Bike Path run through here. For road cyclists, there’s the Stelvio Pass or the climb up to Lake Reschen on a fantastic and challenging bike path—also perfect for e-bikes. Everything is well-signposted. Taking the Vinschgau Railway from Schluderns, you can reach Merano or Bolzano easily and relatively quickly; Schlanders and Nauders are worthwhile little towns to stop at for shopping along the way. A great tour on a budget takes you on the Swiss PostBus through Val Mustair over the Ofen Pass into the Engadin to Zernez, and if you like, you can continue by train to, say, St. Moritz (...) and return in the late afternoon—it’s easy to fit into your schedule.
