Some cars and e-scooters were driving fast. This made it a bit difficult with a toddler. The grounds are also very well maintained, and there are plenty of play areas for the kids. Plus, there’s a great entertainment program, as well as an outdoor pool and an indoor pool—complete with slides for fun—and an indoor play area. As an adult, you get a little bored, and a swimming pool would have been niceOur impressions after our stay during summer vacationThe Ijsselstrand Campground offers a nice change of pace from everyday life. There are several play areas for the kids. You can go swimming every day, take a walk, enjoy the sun, or even just grab a bite to eat while the kids have fun at the playground.
If you have a car, you can drive to the stores,... or you can use the small on-site supermarket, which is even open on Sundays.
We also visited a zoo nearby (25 km away), which was nice, and there are other places to visit, such as an open-air museum, etc.

The pool, the attractions, and the grounds—everything else was great. Despite there being so many kids, the houses were absolutely quiet, perfect for a restful night’s sleep.
The... only thing we would have liked at the pool was a snack bar open every day for drinks and snacks, as well as changing rooms. After swimming, it was difficult to get changed before heading back to the cottages.
