- the location - the amenities - everything was clean - very hassle-free
Desventajas
- If there's one thing I really want to find, it's the patches of sand along the path toward the dune; some of them are very bumpy, uneven, and soft (that's just how it is at Dünen Camping).
A hassle-free spot in a great location!
We’re absolutely thrilled! Booking was a breeze, and upon arrival, they went out of their way to communicate with us in German. The gate (open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) works very smoothly via license plate recognition. We had a spot right next to the dune. The spots near the dunes are somewhat uneven... and bumpy, and in some places soft because there’s sand from the dune on the site. But it’s all easy to level out. Electricity and water were within easy reach. The wash houses are all spacious and have plenty of room! There are mostly family bathrooms that everyone can use. Each wash house has large kitchens and common areas. Refrigerators, freezers, and even dishwashers are available free of charge. Most importantly: everything was always clean! There’s never a shortage of toilet paper, and there are even several options for drying your hands. At the campground itself, there were plenty of activities for the kids: a weekly program, go-karts to rent, playgrounds of all sizes on every corner, bouncy cushions, a pool, and even a bouncy castle. The beach right outside the gate was great! Clear water, fine sand, and not overcrowded. There’s also a snack bar, restaurant, and kiosk on-site. So we were able to enjoy soft-serve ice cream right there. Plus, every morning we could buy fresh rolls and delicious Danish poppy seed bread. The mini-zoo was also a fun little experience. We loved it! All costs were included!!! No extra charges for showers, electricity, the pool, or anything else—really great!

The sanitary facilities were just great and the pitches very nice
Desventajas
The entrance to the pitches was bordered with stones, making it difficult to maneuver. Without a mover, it was quite an act.
Very nice place with great sanitary facilities
A very nice campsite with super friendly staff.
We were given a somewhat sheltered pitch because unfortunately the weather wasn't great.
There are only stones at the entrance to the pitch to mark it out a little. This in turn caused a few problems when maneuvering without a mover.
Unfortunately, the... swimming pool was also closed due to the weather. But the wash house was fantastic.
There was a children's bathroom with small toilets etc. Totally lovely. And everything was clean.
There was also a cozy lounge with games, books, etc.

there is nothing negative to report
Very beautiful and well maintained
We stayed at CP Kattegat Strand Camping for 2 weeks in June 2024 and we really liked it there. The CP site is right by the sea. The pitches are spacious and the sanitary facilities are modern and always clean and well maintained. The family who run the campsite are very friendly, extremely helpful and... obliging.
The site has everything you could wish for as a camper: a store, restaurant and other amenities such as a lounge, kitchen with hotplates, etc. and, last but not least, peace and quiet.
We would like to thank Jörn Pedersen and his family once again for the wonderful days we spent on the site.

Ventajas
-Location/ Beach -Play facilities for children -Spaciousness of the facility
Desventajas
-Sanitary concept questionable -Very expensive, price-performance ratio mixed
Good overall, but...
We were there after the main season, it all seemed a bit deserted and very lonely. The site is in a great location on a fantastic beach and there are more than enough opportunities for children to play. The sanitary concept without gender separation and no toilets separate from the showers (mostly only... family bathrooms with shower and toilet) was not convincing, so you had to shower in the same room where the toilet was previously used. The pitches are perfectly OK, the site is very spacious. Even if the overall condition of the pitch facilities is good, it doesn't quite match the standard and price of the pitch. Not a bad campsite, but very expensive, price-performance ratio remains mixed due to the price.

We haven't found any of them - except the weather :-)
BEAUTIFUL place and super atmosphere and service
Best campsite with super service and happy and friendly staff. Always (24 hours a day) clean and tidy, well-maintained beautiful buildings and areas beautifully located, where nature is taken into account. The whole family can be entertained regardless of the weather - WE WILL COME AGAIN!

More is not possible !
We stayed here in a tent with 2 children (10 and 12) for 14 days in August 2015. It was pure relaxation. Great play opportunities for the children and therefore time to relax for the parents :-) We'll be there again next year.

Beachfront location

Owners should show more trust in their customers/guests
Lovely location and great space around the caravan we had rented
Unfortunately, the owners of the campsite are far too temperamental and provocative towards their customers. The campsite is really lovely and in a fantastic location.

Very well-equipped pitch, good infrastructure, located directly on the shallow beach. Shallow water warms up very quickly, ideal for families with children. Very nice pitches, some with sea views. Very well maintained with top sanitary facilities. But not exactly cheap.

A wonderful place with very friendly and helpful operators. The only small drawback is the lack of excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

Very nice campsite in a prime location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Leisure facilities outstanding. There is a small sauna, a spa (whirlpool bath), a heated outdoor pool, several playgrounds, restaurant, market, horses, petting animals, MonoCars, activity hall for bad weather with playstations,... ball pool, gym, viewing room, teen room and much more. We felt very comfortable. The site is quite centrally located on the "Danish mainland" and is a good starting point for excursions. However, you should be aware that - unless you love nature (e.g. by cycling) or are a water sports enthusiast - it usually takes at least 30-45 minutes to get to tourist activities. Example: Legoland: 2 hours, Skagen - 1 1/2 hours, Marianger 30 minutes. As we were there in the low season, the site was very empty and deserted except for a few days. In the high season, the large site (a good 1000m long) is certainly really busy. The nearby town was also pretty "deserted" during the week and only lively at the weekend. The market on the square is unfortunately a bit expensive - which is of course even more significant in relation to the cost of living in Denmark. A bread roll (Rundstykken) should cost 5 DKK (approx. 65 cents). That's why we switched to bread rolls from Aldi, which we baked in our kettle grill. In the nearby town of "Oster Hurup" there are 2 supermarkets and everything the tourist heart desires. A little further on - highly recommended - Super Best - you can really find EVERYTHING here. In Hadsund (approx. 20 km) there is an Aldi with a similar range to that in Germany. It is important to spend a lot of time choosing your pitch in advance. Would you prefer to be "at the back" and have a little more "peace and quiet" - or would you rather be in the center ... All pitches are quite close to the water - but the best are those directly behind the dune. You can hear the sound of the Baltic Sea (Kattegat) at night. The site is certainly one of the best we have seen so far (and apart from our active camping time with our own camper van, we have already gained experience with rented camper vans and our parents). In short: ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED.

The campsite is very well equipped. Pitches directly on the beach (only a small dune separates the site from the sea). Very spacious pitches, all with electricity and water. One drawback I find is that at 5* and the associated price, the outdoor pool at the campsite costs 10 crowns per person. Internet... is also only available near the reception. The supermarket is quite sparsely stocked but sufficient. The nature park "Lille Vildemose" is highly recommended (8 km). All in all, a great place but with few leisure activities nearby.

The place seemed boring. They had hired a young girl to do things with the kids - she just wasn't good enough. On the day of the snobrød, the fire wasn't going properly, so it didn't happen. Their foam didn't work properly either. It's not a place we would visit again.

Simply a wonderful campsite in a beautiful location! If you want a little more peace and quiet, you should choose your pitch from the middle to the last sanitary building. From the reception towards the south.
