Verdon Les Grands Domaines is a family-run, nature-focused campsite located in Saint-Laurent-du-Verdon, in the Basses Gorges du Verdon – a part of the Verdon well known among experienced visitors for its wild and unspoiled character. The campsite covers 11 hectares, …within a 150-hectare natural estate, offering a strong sense of space, peace and immersion in nature. The pitches are not individually marked, allowing campers to choose their spot freely while respecting the natural environment and other guests. The site was taken over in 2024, after several years of closure, and fully renovated in 2025. It is now affiliated with the maeva Respire network, promoting a more sustainable and environmentally respectful approach to tourism. The campsite offers 108 pitches, including 50 large natural pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. These pitches are spacious, often shaded, and well integrated into the landscape. In addition, there are rental accommodations available: mobile homes, lodge tents, one chalet and several cottages. A private access to the Verdon is available directly from the campsite, in a particularly natural section of the Basses Gorges, appreciated for swimming, gentle water activities and the peaceful surroundings. Verdon Les Grands Domaines is an ideal base to explore the Verdon, its landscapes, villages and many outdoor activities, such as hiking, cycling and nature-based leisure. The campsite is especially suited for families, couples and campers looking for a quiet and authentic stay, far from mass tourism.
