"Right next to the waterfall, but otherwise... - Campsite is right next to the waterfall, great location. On the other hand, there is nothing else here. There is a souvenir stall as many coaches stop here to visit the waterfall. There are always 2-3 buses here between 9am and 7pm. You won't find a supermarket, restaurant etc. here. You have to go to Voss for this (approx. 15 minutes by car) Wifi is available, but even with the best reception, the data only trickles out of the line very slowly..... There is hardly anyone on the pitch at the moment, but speedtest still only reports 2.5 MBit. And in the evening you can share this with the other campers... Sanitary is ok, the camping toilet is flushed at a simple toilet behind the house with an additional hose. Quite ok for 1-2 nights. Or if you want to spend the whole day looking at the waterfall (including tourists).

"Directly at the waterfall - We stayed at the campsite for two nights with our dog and loved it. As the waterfall is very loud (very pleasant noise) we didn't hear anything from the main road. Showers and toilets are perfectly fine. Location right by the waterfall is great.

" - We stayed at this campsite with a tent for one night in August 2013. It's right next to the road, but you can't hear it through the waterfall :-) Beautiful view of the waterfall, the sound of which accompanied us through the night. The sanitary facilities were very clean, but 70s style. However, a newer one was built next to it. The campsite was one of the most expensive on our 4-week tour of Norway. We were traveling with 3 children (8, 6 and 8 months). The children really enjoyed the waterfall and were able to swim with sticks.

" - The waterfall is right next to the campsite, but if the door and windows of the hut are closed, it doesn't bother you. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There are cooking facilities in the hut, but no running water. The staff were very friendly!
