"Cheap clean place - Approx. 80 pitches on grass, some with hardstanding, from 01.06. three quarters occupied by permanent campers. Tourist area at the entrance. Rows divided by hedges. Sanitary facilities are ok, but too small when fully occupied, only 3 showers and WCs. Cassette sink available. Everything very clean. Price £21 for 2 people, all inclusive. Location: A few 100 m north of the (hardly interesting) village. Interesting: Lighthouse 4 km, to Bempton Cliffs (Puffins!) 5 km. Annoying: During our stay (3 days) all day (24 hours) every 1 to 3 minutes a double warning sound, like a foghorn, which came from the headland in front of the lighthouse and could be heard for miles, even on the campsite.
