"Winter vacation 24/25 - Basically a nice place! the operator is aware that 2 showers are not enough and told us that the sanitary building will be expanded in 2025. the ski boot dryer was also much too small. but all in all a great ski vacation! unfortunately we have no idea what the place is like in summer.

"Rather for those passing through - We only used the site for a stopover on our way through - which is apparently what the majority of campers do, as there are quite a few caravans with trailers on the gravel area at the front, ready for an early onward journey. The site is also well suited for this due to its convenient transport links close to the A10. However, if you want to stay longer than one night, you're pretty much stuck without a mover. The terraced pitches with very narrow and steep access roads make it impossible to pull the caravan directly onto the pitch or push it there by hand. There are no facilities, but a good restaurant is within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are strange. A kind of collective changing room with adjoining shower cubicles - certainly not everyone's cup of tea. Everything seems somehow provisional, although functional and sufficiently clean. The proximity to the bathing lake is certainly an advantage, but the lack of comfort and ultimately the completely exorbitant price made us leave the next day. Perhaps the site is ideal for winter camping and then also worth the money: there is more gravel than grass and there was also a room for storing ski equipment, but unfortunately this was not for us.

"Pleasant stay on the journey home - Nice little site, with enough pitches for transit but also a normal camping zone, partly with grass and also gravel, all very flat. The gravel didn't bother us much, as it was always better than standing in the mud or on grass that had been destroyed by weeks of lying on rubber mats. The showers are few, but we had a wonderful lake in front of us with drinking water quality - what more could you want? As a real camper, you also have your options in the Womo or Wowa. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and around the lake deserves praise. We really enjoyed the wonderful view and the nearby highway was barely audible. We were there for 2 days on our return journey and cycled a lot on wonderful cycle paths and also hiked with our dog. We bought groceries in Altenmarkt 1.5 km away, and the 2 quaint restaurants near the church are highly recommended. We would love to come back.

"For 1 week in the parking lot in front of the campsite - We had already booked the campsite 1 year in advance and had relied on the comfort pitch with 4 connection options (other pitches are not even offered on the internet). When we arrived with two small children and caravan on the 2nd day of Christmas, we were offered a pitch in front of the garage (slightly sloping) and a pitch on the gravel pitch in front of the campsite. We initially preferred the gravel pitch as the entire campsite was very icy and the host didn't offer any help. When we asked about the connections, we were only offered electricity. Everything else was only for permanent campers. After we had parked the car, we inspected the sanitary facilities. Moderately clean, 1 sink, 2 toilets for men and women and 2 showers for each gender. Everything was getting on in years. We then asked the landlord again what he would charge for the gravel pitch. He wanted the full price. We would stand inside just like outside. So that meant just over €45 excluding electricity for 2 adults and 2 small children in a parking space. This was not how we had imagined our winter vacation and luckily we found a replacement in the neighboring town that same evening. We would not recommend this campsite to anyone else.

Im Winter gelangen Sie mit den Skiern über die Tauern-Langlaufloipe direkt vom Campingplatz aus zur 500 m entfernten Liftstation! Die Tauernlanglaufloipe bietet ihnen außerdem 160 km Langlauf-Spaß und mit dem Gratisskibus gelangen Sie zu allen Liften der Salzburger Sportwelt.
