Nice owners. Plenty of shade and very pleasant temperature even in the heat due to the cold river. Opposite is a "waterfall" of a fish farm so there is a constant loud noise. Walking distance to the sights.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 2.0HKHenk K.June 20172.0HKHenk K.June 2017AdvantagesBeautifully located by river; Bus connection MostarNegativesSMalle Access road with slope and right-angled final curve to CampgroundToo badVisited campsite on 17-6-2017. No one encountered. With difficulty turned the caravan and with pain and difficulty took the angled slope again. In my opinion the access is only suitable for smaller caravans and motorhomes.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 5.0ARAllison R.March 20175.0ARAllison R.March 2017AdvantagesLocation. Rarely do you get the chance to camp directly on the banks of such a beautiful river.NegativesSomewhat challenging to access in a larger caravan.Beautiful spot directly on a GORGEOUS riverWe spent 10 lovely days at River Camp Bara. Blagaj is a very small town but well equipped with markets and restaurants. This is the perfect spot of backpackers, tent campers or campervan owners. We traveled in a 6.7 meter caravan but I would not recommend taking one any larger than that to this spot.... The facilities are simple but more than adequate. This is an absolutely beautiful spot from which to enjoy the river and local attractions. The owner is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 5.0LCLorna C.July 20165.0LCLorna C.July 2016AdvantagesThe locationReturn to River camp BaraWe have used this lovely little campsite on many times. It has an excellent location beside the river, which provides natural air-conditioning on hot days. The ideal place to relax and enjoy nature, just around the corner from the Sufi Teki Monastry and source of river Buna, or to take a sigh-seeing... trip, by local bus, to Mostar. Facilities are basic, but clean - there is a kitchen, with communal fridge. The owner, Tarik, is a lovely person and very helpful. - 5.0KGKim G.June 20165.0KGKim G.June 2016AdvantagesLovely situation and close to Mostar. Very friendlyNegativesNoneLovely Little SiteWe stayed at this lovely site on a trip around Europe. It was one of our favourite places. It's a simple place which is clean and has everything we needed. Blagaj is a very nice village and is close to Mostar. WiFi was free and very fast. Much better than we have at home. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He even made us coffee in the morning. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
- 5.0HPhildgund p.August 20155.0HPhildgund p.August 2015That's how it should always be.Quiet little site (max. approx. 20 guests) near Mostar, directly on the banks of the Buna, pleasantly cool in summer. The young operator is extremely helpful and courteous, speaks good English. The technology works, there is one toilet and one shower, everything is spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate for the small pitch. We felt at home straight away.Automatically translated.1 camper found this rating helpful.
- 5.0TUTomasz U.July 20145.0TUTomasz U.July 2014The best campsite in BlagajNice staff - a rich source of information about the region and the country. Eager to help in any matter. The campground is located on the river, shaded - ideal for Herzegovinian heat. Once you get used to the sound of water flowing from the fish farm - perfect.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!

- 5.0LALorna and Paul B.July 20135.0LALorna and Paul B.July 2013Have spent a magical 3 days at this special place near to the source of the River Bara. The river flows next to the campsite, thus keeping the air cool especially at night ... a natural air conditioning unit and good for fishing. The perfect place from which to sightsee Mostar and also to relax. Our... campsite host has been most welcoming, has gone out his way to help us and provide good advice for a magnificent holiday here. Rudolf E.September 20123.0Rudolf E.September 2012Beautifully situated campsite for visitors to Mostar and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are inadequate and there are not enough of them. Price too high: 20 euros per night for two people in the low season is too high. Owners friendly and helpful.Automatically translated. No campers have found this rating helpful yet. Be the first!
