"Great parking space close to Salzburg - Large pitch for motorhomes with a very nice operator. Recommended to reserve in summer as it is very busy. Too few showers and toilets when fully booked. Unfortunately the cleanliness suffers in the evening

"Ideal as a stopover - Campsite is ideally located if you want to visit the city of Salzburg. After 5 min at the campsite a friendly Lady came to give me the necessary explanation. Do not expect a 5 star campground but as a transit and immediately taken care of plumbing you really do not need much to be content, Connection to the city by bus 21 across the street is perfect.

"Either or - The second campsite of this company that we have visited. After Vienna, we were drawn to Salzburg this time, and we weren't as impressed as we were with the first one. The Internet suggests pitches in different categories, but this is no longer the case on the pitch. There is only one price category and this is, how could it be otherwise, the more expensive category. Then you pay an overnight stay tax of 3.05 euros, although the city of Salzburg only charges 3 euros. And when I wanted to "ask" the responsible site supervisor about the additional possible mobility fee, I was ignored like a little boy. The woman preferred a more private conversation about dogs instead of devoting herself to her paid work and advising customers with questions. This employee should perhaps be sent to Vienna for training, where they took time for the customers. Apart from that, there is hardly any difference between these two sites. The sanitary facilities were clean, the pitch was big enough to extend the awning and it was actually quiet. The cycle paths to the city center of Salzburg are well developed, if it weren't for the speeding local cyclists you would also feel safe. So the site raises a few questions, but as we don't drive to a site twice, I don't need to go into any more detail here. And remember, motorhome drivers greet each other.

"Location, cleanliness and space TOP - A pitch cannot be compared with a campsite, of course! But you should bear in mind that there are no shopping facilities nearby. The Jägerwirt restaurant opposite was unfortunately closed on Sat+Sun. Every now and then a farmer comes to the site to sell cheese and sausages.

"Far from "premium" - The site advertises itself as a "premium parking space" Obviously in order to maximize profits, staff has been cut and the reception closed. Instead, campers have to register themselves by taking a plastic envelope, which is placed in a basket near the original reception. You then fill in the length of stay, number of people, pet, license plate number etc. by hand. There is only one rate: €30 per night for 2 people. Electricity included whether you want/need it or not. There is also an overnight stay tax from the city of Salzburg, €1.75 per person per day. On departure, you put your money and a note in your bag and put it in a letterbox at reception. Card payment is therefore not possible. The sanitary facilities are heated and clean, but there is a constant smell of faeces in the air, at least in the men's area. The plastic shower curtains must have been new before Corona and the chrome of the shower fittings is protected by a thick layer of limescale. The rather neglected and unkempt-looking "groundskeeper" quickly locks himself in the reception building with his shepherd dog as soon as a camper approaches with questions, not without an unfriendly "everything is written on the note on the door". The pitches are supposed to be 10x5 meters: "comfort pitch", in fact there is just enough space for the vehicle and 2 chairs in front of it. Viewed slightly from above, the mass of campers resembles a kind of battery of eggs, with vehicle after vehicle so close together. If campers were chickens, animal welfare would surely have already taken action. Supply and disposal are 08/15 standard, waste is disposed of separately, the number of waste garbage cans seems too small, during our stay several were already overflowing. We campers are painless, otherwise such facilities would not be overcrowded and "highly" rated

"Great location. - I described this in Advantages. Everything 1A. Staff super. Location of the place 1A. For me not a pitch but a simple campsite. All pitches of this company are in the best management.

The centrally located 1st Motorhome Parking Area Salzburg is exclusively for motorhomes and is open 24 hours a day, all year round. The site is located about 1.5 km from the A1 motorway and is easily accessible via a main …road. Right in front of the parking area is bus stop No. 21, which takes you directly to the centre of Salzburg and back – with no need to change buses. Covering around 12,000 m², the site offers 106 pitches with electricity, ranging from 5 m × 10 m to 5 m × 20 m, on gravel turf. The 7 m wide entrance and the spacious internal roads make every manoeuvre a real pleasure. Two separate sanitary facilities for ladies and gentlemen offer 10 showers, 10 toilets, 10 washbasins, and urinals – all included in the pitch price. At the high-capacity service station, up to 3 motorhomes can empty via floor channels and 4 motorhomes with cassette toilets can be serviced simultaneously. In addition, 8 fresh water connections ensure there are no waiting times. Next to the reception is a lounge area, and on-site you will also find a fenced dog park. Opposite the parking area is the Jägerwirt restaurant, serving local specialities, and within walking distance you’ll find a grocery store and other shops. A warm welcome to Salzburg!
