"Beautiful place that could do with a new coat of paint - See pros and cons. A coffee machine in the indoor playground would be perfect. The Halloween event was very loving and elaborate (like last year). In summary, a very nice place, but one that should invest in the camping area and leisure facilities instead of just the new cubes.

"A popular place with regular guests - In the low season there is plenty of space, the pitches are spacious, water and waste water, DBT-T and electricity directly at the site, in the east there are many pitches with a clear view to the south (SAT), but there are also many shady pitches. You can also rent a glamping tent or mobile home there. We had an unpleasant experience with the only occupant of a glamping tent, she denounced us at the reception because we washed up in the glamping kitchen, it was right next to our caravan and also has plugs for the washbasins (there are none in the laundry room) Unfortunately, the variety on offer is very limited. The slide was out of order as well as the water mushroom, there is only one table tennis table, which is constantly occupied by children playing ball. The complex is very clean, you can get everywhere by bike, even to the two larger towns (3km Maasbree and 5 km Venlo) Super well-developed cycle paths. The mini market is okay, but very, very expensive. The market also has short opening hours. Much is done via the site's own APP, e.g. booking a restaurant.

"Beautiful campsite by the lake - The site is located just over the German border, 8 km from Venlo. We liked the quiet location in the forest. Most of the pitches are under trees. This means there is plenty of shade in summer, but no satellite reception. It is possible to book online and choose a pitch (+35€). Our pitch had water and electricity and was level. We could decide whether we wanted to book a dog area or a dog-free area. There are 2 sanitary buildings spread across the site. Nobody has to go hungry either...bistro, beach bar, restaurant and well-stocked supermarket with fresh bread rolls. The lake with its sandy beach offers plenty of space for relaxing, swimming and SUP'ing. The swimming pool is more fun for families with small children. The sanitary building was clean at all times. We will definitely be back again ☺️

"Nice place to relax - The campsite is beautifully laid out. The lake is perfect for swimming or SUPing in warm weather. The site is in very good condition. The staff are always very friendly and take excellent care of the site. There is an indoor playground, supermarket, beach bar and indoor pool with whirlpool is available.

"Sanitary facilities very outdated and in need of renovation - We were here regularly at Whitsun until 2001 and now in 2022 for the first time again. We were told on the phone that both sanitary blocks had been renovated. We cannot confirm this. Some of the tiles are missing, the water pressure is insufficient and everything is outdated. It is also far from clean.
