"I'll be back in the off-season - There is no marked space for tents. People don't respect personal space, you hear people setting up tents less than 50cm away... Zero tranquillity.

"Not coming back - I don't recommend it. I was there for two days and there was a group there all night making noise, singing and listening to music, we called the reception several times no one answered at 3am the group started to take the cars out of the place and put them in others we called the reception again and nothing then they took the other car they knocked down the wall we called another number of the park the person in charge answered she was 40km away she was going to meet there in the meantime another of the group took the car and ran over a tent the lady who was there was not there. the lady who was inside didn't get hit because she saw the lights and started screaming. We went to her aid. The park's timekeeper turned up and the gnr showed up. We packed up and left. The group who hit the tent was let out of the park by the person in charge. The others stayed there until they were expelled. At that moment we realized that we were locked in the park in case something serious happened or a fire broke out, and there was no one available to open the gates to let us out. The caretaker sleeps like hell and won't even give up his phone, and the person in charge is 40km away, which is terrible and will never happen again without any security.

"Quietly located campsite with mostly very flat, shady pitches - We mainly came to this campsite because of its proximity to the World Heritage city of Tomar (approx. 15 km). It is remotely located above the dam wall of a very large reservoir. Access is good despite the mountainous landscape. The campsite is situated on very steep terrain and is therefore terraced - in some places very high retaining walls have been built. The pitches for caravans/mobile homes are well laid out and reasonably sized. They are very level. Sanitary facilities are available in sufficient numbers. During our stay, only the sanitary block for men was open. The sanitary facilities are not the newest. But everything worked. Hot water came after a reasonable wait. The shower cubicles are small but adequate. The hand wash basins are in a communal washroom and not all have a plug socket. The operators were very friendly. However, communication was very difficult because they only speak "a little" French and we don't speak Portuguese.

Profile

Der Platz liegt etwas oberhalb und an einem der saubersten Seeen in Portugal. Vor dem Eingangstor befindet sich ein großer Parkplatz mit Wendekreis. Der schöne Campingplatz hat einen Swimmingpool mit Kinderbecken und Liegestühlen in der Sonne, eine Abkühlung die sich …im Sommer in Portugal an heissen Tagen als sehr großes Glück entpuppt. Ein Restaurant mit Terrasse rundet den Aufenthalt angenehm ab. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, mit Mosaiksteinen an den Wänden. Die Rollstuhl gerechten Auffahrten und Rollstuhl gerechten Duschzimmer mit WC sind gut erreichbar für Menschen mit körperlicher Beeinträchtigung und sehr sauber. Bei den Damen- als auch Herrentoiletten findet man einen Babywickeltisch zum Aufklappen an den Wänden und Kinderwaschbecken und Toiletten. Zum Service des idyllischen Platzes gehören ein gängiges WI-FI Netzwerk mit großem Radius. Die meisten Stellflächen für Wohnmobile und Zelte befinden sich auf Gras und im Schatten der Bäume und sind mit Stromanschlüssen und Wasseranschlüssen ausgestattet. Der kleine Kinderspielplatz liegt auch im Schatten und befindet sich im separaten unbefahrenen Bereich. Zur sportlichen Abwechslung stehen nahe der Rezeption ein umzäunter Fussballplatz und Baskettball Körbe zur Verfügung. Der Campingplatz hat eine Chemietoilette und Hunde sind angeleint gestattet.
