"Simple but effective and very nice campsite - A simple campsite, but with all the essentials for a good vacation: shade, generous-sized pitches, grass on the ground, simple but clean and practical sanitary facilities (removable shower head, shower curtain, bench at the entrance), amenities (electricity, water, barbecue), swimming pool, children's playground. After several disappointing campsites in the south of Portugal, we found a small haven of peace with very friendly young people at the reception, only 2k from the village, in the middle of nature and slightly elevated to allow views.

"Management - The park has all the characteristics to be much better... Unfortunately, the management leaves a lot to be desired. When you first arrive they seem like one thing, but as time goes by you start to realize that they're not the nice guys they seemed to be, and worst of all it's impossible to communicate with them at all, as they're extremely rude. There are no words to describe such incompetent management.

"A bit disorganized and up to no good - The friendliness is not great, the cleanliness is non-existent (I was there for 3 days and there was never any cleaning of the sanitary blocks, considering that the park was empty it's a bit confusing); there is also no control of pH and chlorine in the pool; there is no information on the park's rules because we wanted to know the tariff and we were told that as long as they had a pool open (even if it was November) they considered it high season, something that is difficult to understand. Of all the camping experiences I've had, I've never had one like this. No campsite has ever forced me to check out and pay for a day in order to stay the rest of the afternoon. It should be noted that I do have to check out by 1pm or 2pm, but they all allow me to use the facilities for the rest of the day without any loss. What confuses me the most is that there was no one else in the park, they could have been friendly, engaging and they didn't do it. I won't be returning.

"very poor management, but space with potential - lack of information on the park's rules on display for consultation (rules made/unmade to the minute and according to the wishes of those who operate it), lack of cleanliness, it looks like an abandoned park, very unfriendly workers (it seems they are forced to be there like a prison, without any will), untreated pool (Ph and Chlorine without control and filtering system not active).

"Camping - For the capital of the district it's the only one we have and it's very good, lots of shade, friendly staff, affordable prices, people who camp every year, I didn't like certain comments saying it was empty or they didn't clean it is a lie

"We love it! - We often go on 2 or 3 day trips (i.e. mini-holidays) with our bike and tent or our car, tent and dog to get to know our country and to relax from everyday life. We've always chosen campsites that are quiet, in nature, cheap and not too busy (no need for parties, bars or yoga classes...). We were extremely happy with this park. The service is fantastic, the fact that cars aren't allowed on the site makes it even quieter, there's plenty of shade, the toilets are clean, even if they are old, and the grounds are very spacious. Our dog loved it too! The pool isn't very big, but it's clean and has a deep area for swimming. We'll be back for sure!
