"OK, for those passing through - It's just a NAF square. Square, practical, good. But nothing more. Peace and quiet? So-so... The huts are clean. The sanitary facilities are okay. Located next to the airfield. The road opposite is easy to hear. Even at 24:00h etc.

"Avoid if at all possible! - The site is now called Notodden Camping AS. We had to make our return journey at short notice and this site was just right for an overnight stay. And it turned out to be by far the worst campsite in Scandinavia that we have ever experienced: Absolutely neglected; littered site; dirty toilets, the leftover food in the sink that someone had left behind could still be found the next day, ... There are certainly better alternatives in this area! The free WiFi doesn't make up for the shortcomings.

" - In my opinion, the campsite and cabins are designed more for transit travelers and do not make an inviting impression for a longer stay. The sanitary facilities are satisfactory, but the overall hygiene of the kitchen, toilets and washrooms can be rated as "still adequate". And whoever came up with the nonsense of orienting the outdoor seating in the cabins to the east and with a view of the airport should, in my opinion, be "crucified". But anything is bearable for one night. In this respect, I agree with the comments of the "previous speaker" and also say - if you can't find anything better, you can probably cope with it for one night.
