On the west coast of Himmerland, in the northern part of Denmark, the Myrhøj Campsite is all about open spaces and nature. The location of the campsite in the Myrhøj Nature Reserve, by the largest fjord in Denmark, couldn't be …more perfect. Just a stone’s throw away, you’ll find the vast Limfjord, the beach, and numerous beautiful cycling paths. The campsite is especially designed for families with children up to twelve years old. The large playground features climbing equipment, a sports field, a zip line, and even an indoor play area, ensuring maximum fun in any weather! The campsite is not only spacious but also very well-maintained. The grounds are neat, and the pitches are well-planned. The grassy areas are lush and inviting, and many of the pitches offer stunning views of the fjord – a wonderful experience to wake up to. For campers without their own equipment, there are cozy wooden cabins available. The three sanitary buildings are modern and in excellent condition. There are also good facilities for campers with physical disabilities, making the campsite accessible to everyone. If you want to spend the whole day at the campsite, there’s no shortage of activities for the whole family. Start the day with fresh bread from the campsite shop and get energized for the day ahead. The children can spend hours at the colorful play areas or visit the animals, such as horses, rabbits, and chickens. Fun activities like treasure hunts or crafting are also regularly organized. For those wanting to explore the area, there are many scenic coves around the Limfjord, just a short walk away. From the pier, you can go straight into the water and enjoy the beautiful nature.
