"not recommended - This place is an imposition. The sanitary facilities are old, cramped, defective, not clean, disgusting. The food in the restaurant is a disaster. The staff can't speak English, are unfriendly and not really efficient. Grass comes out from between the tiles by the pool, it has verdigris and is not clean. You can see it as soon as you arrive, the shutters are broken at reception and the staff are not really friendly. The pitches are on concrete, there is no grass next to them and there is garbage everywhere. Some of the sanitary facilities are run-down and disused. It seems as if they want to let the campsite fall into disrepair. The very small camping store is unattended, the fruit and vegetables are rotting and not fit for purpose - I wouldn't buy anything there.

"Place in the forest with direct highway access and older, well-kept infrastructure - Good pitches, unfortunately only a few nice tent pitches. I can't say much about the bungalows, from the outside they still look quite new and clean.

"an imposition - This place is run down. Sanitary facilities cleanliness and equipment miserable. Loud music every evening. Staff very business-like. Price unreasonable. The only plus point is the bus/metro connection to the city center.

"Dejavu after 35 years - I was here 30 years ago and the sanitary facilities were the same. Pitch is good (shady and airy). Recommend a site in the surrounding area with rail links to Lisbon (coast or Sintra).

"Very loud in many ways - Only suitable if you are looking for a base for a visit to Lisbon. Close to the highway and very noisy.

Profile

At Lisboa Camping & Bungalows, you’ll spend your holiday on a peaceful, family-friendly campsite surrounded by nature – and if you’re lucky, you might even have a squirrel as your neighbor. The campsite is located in Lisbon, with quick and …easy bus access to the city center. You’ll also enjoy being close to the beaches of the Costa Azul and the fairytale town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The grounds are terraced and slightly sloped, set in a forest. You can choose between pitches with plenty of shade, little shade, or none at all. In total, there are 70 bungalows, 4 glamping tents, 4 mobile homes, 189 shaded and equipped bays for caravans and motorhomes, and a spacious area for tents. If you’re into sports, you’ll have access to an on-site sports field. Dogs are welcome both in low and high season, as long as they’re kept on a lead. For variety, you can join one of the organized excursion programs. On warm days, take a dip in the swimming pool or relax in the paddling pool. When you don’t feel like cooking, choose between the snack bar, the self-service restaurant, or the small-menu restaurant. Fresh bread is available daily, and with the WiFi point, you can easily share your holiday moments with friends and family.
