"Absolutely not recommended - Absolutely not recommended—never again! We simply cannot understand how this campground earned a 4-star rating. In our opinion, the sanitary conditions were simply unacceptable. In the restrooms and along the paths, we repeatedly saw feces on the floor that hadn’t been cleaned up for quite some time. On top of that, there was dirt and trash everywhere, and the place gave off a generally unkempt impression. Especially at a campground, where hygiene should be a top priority, this is completely unacceptable. The attached photos document our impressions. The staff also did nothing to improve our stay. We found them to be extremely unfriendly, unhelpful, and poorly trained. In our view, they did not respond appropriately to our concerns about the hygiene issues. Unfortunately, the behavior of many other guests was also very unpleasant. Overall, we found the campground to be unkempt and many fellow campers to be inconsiderate. As a result, the atmosphere was neither pleasant nor relaxing. For a campground that claims to be 4-star and charges the corresponding prices, this situation is completely unacceptable to us. We will definitely not be returning and, based on our experience, cannot recommend this campground to anyone.

"Beautiful family place with rough edges - Anyone who is aware that this is a very large space will feel at home here. After the heavy thunderstorms, the site was immediately repaired and the flooded sanitary blocks were also immediately ready for use again.

"Never I will come again - Overbooked. Booking a place in feb. 2025 and pay 100 euro One week before arrival Lanterna take 213,12 euro automatic from my account When we arrived 1800 km from Denmark no place for me our my caravan.

"Our impression of CP Lanterna at Whitsun 2025: - The campsite belongs to the Valamar chain. For information on pitch prices/rental tents/mobile homes, check the Valamar website or third-party providers such as Luxcamp/Easytent/Roan/Gebethsroither, to name but a few. Most of the pitches are shaded by pine trees (watch out for resin stains). The toilets/showers were always clean, the staff friendly). The campsite was mosquito-free in June 2025, many different birds sang 24/7 and a seagull searched our tent for food! Own charcoal barbecues are prohibited, but there are some barbecue areas where you are allowed to barbecue in brick charcoal barbecues. What the brochures don't mention: The campsite is huge, bicycles/electric scooters are recommended to get to the camping supermarket/swimming pool/sea. There is live music every evening until around 11.00 pm, which can be heard even far away from the restaurants. There are 5 relatively small swimming pools with relatively small sunbathing areas around them, which were already fully occupied during the Whitsun vacations (low season). A sign indicates that the pool area (5 pools, water depth for babies = knee-deep. In the fun area approx. 1.30 m; no pool for athletes; only opens at 10.00 a.m. until 8.00 p.m.) will be closed to late arrivals if it is overcrowded. Sun loungers with parasols can only be rented for an expensive price, so bring your own sun tent/seating furniture. Only ice cream cones are available in the pool area, a Cornetto or Magnum costs €4.40 in June 2025. There are various bars by the sea, where 1 large scoop of ice cream costs €2.20 - €2.50 (the further away from the center, the cheaper). In the sea, the shore areas are cordoned off from watercraft (motor/sailboats, jet skis) by buoy chains for the safety of swimmers. On the piled-up sandy beach, there is the option of using the seawater slide or climbing tower in a cordoned-off area for an entrance fee. Salto trampoline/bouncy castle/etc = 10min/4 € per child

"Quite expensive and full - The campsite is ok and there are some facilities for children such as a football, basketball, tennis or volleyball court. There is a large beach promenade, which is characterized by typical stone and cliff areas, but also offers a sandy beach. However, the ends of cables come out of it every now and then^^ The lady at the check-in said that there are currently around 11,000 guests at this camping resort. This means that the main areas are accordingly overcrowded. The soccer pitch must have had 200 visitors in the evening and it was out of the question to have a relaxed kick of the ball back and forth. All in all, though, ok. The sanitary facilities were also clean.

"Summer 2024 A Mare area - Very, very large complex. Lots of people, restless due to late night rest. Small pitches - we were in area A with a sea view. Very expensive in high season with 3 people and a dog. The beach, the sea and the bay are a dream! Restaurants and supermarkets are great! The delivery service is great! It's certainly more relaxed in the low season...
