"A little gem - La Riviere Fleurie is a small, very quiet, family campsite on the Dordogne. The owner couple are very friendly and helpful. The pitches are large and pleasantly shady, the whole site looks very well-kept (but not over-kept!), the sanitary facilities are clean and well thought out (e.g. the push button for the shower is not on the back wall of the shower cubicle, but on the side, so that you can turn on the water without getting soaking wet straight away). There is a small swimming pool, free internet in the communal room, a bar and a restaurant where the landlady herself is at the stove and cooks simple but very tasty food, accompanied by good wines from the region. Nearby you can hire canoes, taste wine, go hiking, fishing and cycling.
