"Quiet, friendly family campground - From seeing the pictures on Google, I did not have too high expectations, but I was incredibly pleasantly surprised. What a nice, quiet campground with a beach and by the lake. It's really a campsite for families, but as a cyclist I could get there very well and had a super nice spot under the trees. There is a playground for children and a Spanish-style patio for barbecuing and eating. You can also sit inside. You can also buy freshly prepared meals. There are two washing machines and a dryer. The owner is incredibly cordial and helpful. This was one of the finest campsites in Norway.

"Characterized by permanent campers - A tidy and clean campsite for permanent campers. Beautifully situated towards the fjord on the edge of an industrial area. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very suitable for an overnight stay, especially as it is not far from the E 39. You can communicate well in German at the reception.

"2 nights Kvavik CP - We stopped here for 2 nights on the way home. The site is populated by permanent campers. Few possibilities for tourists, but enough for the transit. Sanitary clean and ok, separated from the fjord with sandy beach by a pine forest. During the midday rest the place is cleaned with very loud machinery...

" - Beautiful campsite located directly on the fjord. Don't be put off by the outside when you arrive, it looks completely overcrowded. But there are only permanent campers on the part visible from the road. There is often space at the back. We had a very nice pitch behind a grove, right by the sea. It was very windy though.
