"Simply too expensive - The motorhome pitch was part of a parking lot with the corresponding background noise. One night for two people cost 450 NKR, plus electricity for 75 NKR/24h and a shower for 60 NKR. All in all.... doesn't work at all.

"Friendly, beautiful - Very friendly welcome (english). A very nice, well maintained campsite. Too bad about the wet weather.

"Price/performance does not fit! - The site is actually in a very nice location. Close to Kristiansand and the beautiful coastal areas in the south. Unfortunately, around 75% of the site is occupied by permanent campers. The other pitches are rather carelessly laid out and are good for a maximum of one night to wait for the ferry or to have a first place to stay after the ferry (but I wouldn't do this again). The cheaper pitches for NOK 300 don't work at all! I had chosen the more expensive category for NOK 400 (showers are an extra NOK 15), which clearly exceeds the service. Unfortunately, I was here on a Saturday when the permanent campers were tending to their properties and making a lot of noise with all kinds of motorized equipment. On a positive note, however, the staff were very friendly! Conclusion: There are much nicer and cheaper places, even around Kristiansand.

"Great place for passing through. - Stayed on the site for 3 days (had to wait for ferry) we were very satisfied. The whole site is well run and clean. Sanitary facilities are good and clean. No complaints We would visit the site again and again.

" - Well-equipped campground. Very new plumbing that is in excellent condition. Well equipped pitches. Good starting point for visiting the city of Kristiansand. Also very suitable as an overnight stop for those on their way from Oslo to Bergen or vice versa.

" - Beautiful campsite situated in the fjord, very friendly, clean, with pitches that are second to none! Limited shopping facilities on the site, but a large supermarket is only a few minutes away outside the park. Highly recommended for singles, couples and especially families!

Exit the E-18 east of the bridge Varoddbrua. From the exit it´s 5,5 km to the holidaycentre 12 Bungalows - Fully equipped with bedlinnen, -kitchen utensils, etc. for 4+2 people. - Bathroom with shower and WC. - Television and dishwasher. - 2 bedrooms. - Short distance to the sea and beaches. - Own parking space. - Sunny terrace. - 2 of the bungalows are especially adapted for wheelchair users. 20 rooms - All with shower, WC, and television. - 2/3 beds -- 2 common kitchens. - 1 room especially adapted for wheelchair users.
